Minor thing but the sofa in the living room wasn’t that comfortable, which we later appreciated was due to it being a sofa bed. Nothing major though.

Low beams in doorways upstairs a nighttime hazard, whilst location was lovely and quiet it was not close by to evening restaurant options, but none of this would stop us staying here again.

Well furnished and decorated cottage, very comfortable with everything you might need for your stay. Our 4 year old loved the little bath upstairs, and the downstairs bathroom was very spacious and comfy. Loch Ness boat trips set off right across from the cottage and is right next door to a lovely daytime cafe.

Everything was really comfortable and above what we expected.

The cottage is very charming and spotless, set in a beautiful and peaceful location, overlooking the loch. We loved the many birds visiting the garden and the highland cows in the paddock behind. We did a lovely walk along the water and got talking to some really interesting locals. The shop next door makes a nice hot chocolate and has some nice souvenirs, better quality than in the other stores in the area. We heard the history of the cottage from a lady in the store: although it would be lovely to have a young family living there, at least we felt we were contributing to the community in a small way.

We enjoy cooking, especially after staying in hotels. It would have been great to have simple salt & pepper in the kitchen, as well as a freezer. A hair dryer available would’ve been really helpful!

It was so quaint, clean, lovely, homey and bright! And the location was great for us. The yard was beautiful!

There were couple things however its not a negative comment. The kitchen had everything though it was missing salt and pepper. As soon as we got in had to open the windows to let the air as it felt very stuffy. Again something out of the owners control its not meant as a negative :)

Amazing place with quaint lush garden it had beautiful flower's front and back garden. Rooms were spacious and clean. It's right on the door step of lock ness Jacobite cruise site that was a bonus walking along the river. I would stay there again. Best bit was the garden and birds tweeting sweet sound and great for yoga practice.

The location of this gorgeous cottage is just perfect -we could have easily spent a few more days here just watching the working locks and walking the canal paths. The cottage was extremely clean and welcoming. Beds and quality linen and towels -slept so well. Highly recommend this cottage -make sure you stay long enough to enjoy what's on its doorstep

We absolutely loved our stay, the cottage is absolutely gorgeous and had everything you need. It is spacious, very clean and very welcoming. The decor was very fitting to the idyllic setting. The cottage is in a beautiful location which suited us going out for the Inverness nightlife and being central to most visitor attractions.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely fenced in garden for the dog to run around in. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back. None of us wanted to leave and could have happily stayed on. The cottage had plenty of space for us all to spread out. Comfortable beds meant we all had a great sleep every night. The perfect base to explore Inverness and Loch Ness. When you see the view from the bedrooms for the first time, it will take your breath away. Great communication from the host. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Thank you.

The sofa in the lounge could be a little uncomfortable. There wasn’t any ventilation in the kitchen unless you open the back door, but that didn’t work very well in bad (windy rainy) weather.

Lovely cottage with lots of space. Nice and cosy feel. The beds were really comfortable and the wood burners worked well.
