There was nothing that I didnt like that would prevent me from staying, the mattress wasn't the best quality if I were to get really particular, saying that I still slept well :)

Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, gave a detailed tour of the premises, and if I required anything to let them know. There were workmen in on the second day, however, they were respectful of their work and the guests and I could not overly hear them working. The location is central and there is plenty of parking facilities close by that are free from certain times. The communal lounge was clean and there was plenty of options if required. The room was clean and with facilities as listed in the description. Being in a central location, there was limited noise from outside which was good.

The double bed being two singles was not ideal but perfectly fine for one night and the room was slightly outdated but it served it’s purpose and i can’t complain for the price!

Staff were so friendly, having a bar underneath was very convenient and it was great value for money.

Smoke permeates to the upper floor from the bar and noise till late at night may cause some disturbance but cannot blame, the bar is full of happy lively people, noise is side effect to be tolerated.

Clean comfortable living in a central location. Mr. Gary, the owner, takes personal interest in clients"/ customers' well being. The property has a band of dedicated staffs. I can mention the name of one of them-" Amelia " . She was so helpful, one must appreciate. I have no hesitance to recommend this property to friends and associates. The hotel is showing signs of not being active during the lockdowns, a little tired in places. But totally understandable.

The location is excellent and EXTREMELY close to the nearest, excellent bar..... downstairs. But there is no noise disturbing you from downstairs or outside. You certainly get ample towels. Great WiFi.

Decor a bit dated. Town centre location was always going to attract late night partygoers and noisy early morning returns - but expected and reflected in value for money price.

Nice greeting by staff and assisted with luggage. Convenient for train station. Room was comfortable and plenty of hot water.

Got a parking fine as forgot about the charge from 8am, no fault of the hotel as I did know about it.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Smart, modern bar with a good atmosphere. Room was a good size with everything needed and a nice comfy bed. Great location for shopping.
