A slight issue in that we arrived late and even though we had emailed to say we would be checking in late, there was no message or idea of how to get in. It was by chance that we found an open door and a room with a key…so I would say better arrangements for late arrivals would be good. Tea/Coffee making facilities all there but not enough sugar etc for the 3 days we were there. Traffic/Road noise is noticeable but did not keep us awake

It was convenient location. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of space for clothes and bits. All accessories you might need were easy to find. Shower was excellent. Would definitely stay again and very happy to recommend.

The website still advertises that evening meals are available, as did the information in the bedrooms, but this stopped being the case a while ago. However, there is another pub five minutes walk away (The Boot) that does excellent food in the evenings.

A fantastic breakfast at 'Toast' that really would be hard to beat. The room was spotless, and the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Overall a fantastic trip.

The pub was shut for food, however it wasn’t a huge problem as the staff suggested a nice place not far away which was lovely.

Great pub with a fantastic restaurant. The food and selection of drinks were above what could be expected. The Flyford Team were fantastic, friendly and informative.

The shower could have been bigger. Quite small an area to shower in.

Pretty location, room was comfortable and clean. Fresh crisp linen and supportive pillows on the bed which was very comfortable. Staff and Manager was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Fortunately we only had a small case if you had more baggage it would be difficult to manoeuvre the stairs, as we were leaving another guest was checking out and was struggling with her cases on the small steps

Lovely country inn the room was very tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. The bonus was having a restaurant on the premises, food was excellent

The fact that the room was on the 2nd floor and for 2 people in their 70s was very difficult to access. The room was quite small and overlooked the road which was noisy.
