I stayed at the Fuzzy Duck to meet up with old friends and have a meal together. I had dinner and breakfast at the Fuzzy Duck. Breakfast is included in the room price. The food and service were exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Nothing I don’t like. This could show some big hotel chains a thing or two about quality in rooms, furnishings and politeness of staff. The whole place is so well done. Detail paid attention to everywhere. Even down to really nice toilet paper. Bed was very comfy, pillows were high quality and lovely to sleep on. Products for shower etc were high quality as were the bed throws and scatter cushions. Food was great, service was great. Breakfast was great. Had a brilliant stay

The breakfast times of 9-10am are little bit limiting when you have a baby who wakes up much earlier.

Staff were really attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a really nice place to stay.

I like healthy food and particularly plenty of vegetables and there wasn’t enough of this on the menu. On the second day I spoke to the chef and then had a stunning pork tenderloin with new potatoes and asparagus. Perfectly cooked. Then for breakfast I had brown toast and a variety of fresh sliced colourful tomatoes. Delicious! The chef could add this colour to the menu!

The restaurant and pretty garden were buzzy and fun. The staff were charming. I was made to feel a funny mix of completely at home and something of a celebrity. I could get used to it. :-)

Small but adequate room. In an emergency a good half an hour drive from nearest hospital and medical support.

Beautiful area, lovely gardens. Young but efficient staff. (One of our group had quite a serious accident which they dealt with well. Reassuringly turns out most have training to deal with this type of situation)

Our room fronted onto the road and so there was some traffic noise which meant a very early wake-up ‘call’. However, this would not put us off staying again.

We liked the stylish, neutral decor and the lovely garden area. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious.

The room I had would be better suited to children - I am a mature lady and found sleeping on the bottom bunk unable to sit up awkward - I would also have liked a chair to sit in - I had to sit on a pillow on the floor - I just booked the wrong room for my situation
