Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCarpet seemed alittle old and worn as did the sofa bed. Our son squeezed in our bed as I didn't really trust the sofa bed. But I'm very fussy. Probably wouldn't bother most people.
The room was fantastic. Our son loved the mezzanine floor. Very comfy bed. And Spa bath was a lovely surprise. The toiletries were really nice too and plenty of fresh clean towels. Plenty of tea and coffee stuff too. Staff were lovely, very busy during meal times, but still all happy to help and never too busy to help. Bit of a wait for food, but never bothered us as all delicious and we were in no rush.

United KingdomThere is no one at the property after 9pm, no first aider or security on site. No WiFi and it was as if we were in a blind spot for signal so if there was an emergency, you’d be stuck to try and contact anyone. Check out is at 10am but no one is there until 12 so you just post your keys, there’s no one to actually speak to about your stay. The website shows the pub is open from 12-11pm, this is not the case. We stayed on a Friday and a Saturday night and on both nights the pub closed at 9pm. On the second night I actually asked the girl behind the bar what time they closed and she said 9pm unless people were still drinking, there were still a few people in the pub itself but by 9:10 we were tucked up in the room. We had an issue with the shower in our room, once you turned it on, you got wetter outside the bath than inside. It appeared the hose was faulty and someone had tried to repair it with PTFE tape very badly. Only noticed this the Friday evening as we didn’t arrive until late on, couldn’t report it until Saturday afternoon as we had a trip booked at 12 and there is no one at reception until 12pm. By the time we returned from our trip it was after 5pm. Reported the issue to reception and the lady was lovely, explaining she had only taken it over 8 weeks ago so was still repairing faults. We were offered a room change but it just seemed pointless by that point as we would’ve had to pack up everything and unpack again. The walls are paper thin so you can literally hear everything in the rooms either side, we had a couple of guys in the room next to us on the Saturday who had a dog with them, the dog spent the evening howling all throughout the night even though the hotel states no dogs allowed. The owner knew they had a dog as the 2 guys were also in the pub with the owner when we returned from our trip on the Saturday. There is only a Yale lock on the door but you.
The food in the pub was nice and the staff were friendly. The beds were really comfy too. Only issue with the beds was one of the beds didn’t seem put together very well so the slightest movement and the whole bed looked like was going to fall apart. It was in an ideal location for our trip booked.

United KingdomThe accommodation was basic but it has to be said that the owners had only recently purchased the property and were in the process of refurbishing. Under the circumstances it was adequate for my purpose.
it was very quiet and fairly secluded.

United KingdomThe walls are very thin and could hear next door , who were up til the early hours! (Obviously the hotel cannot control inconsiderate guests!) The sofa bed mattress was well used and didn't seem to fit the frame.
We enjoyed the maisonette layout of the rooms here. It felt spacious and suited us as a family of 4.The convenience of a restaurant on site was appealing. The staff were welcoming, attentative and helpful.

United KingdomMy partner had to fix the radiator to get them to work. Not enough bath towels , no bathrobes. Side wall lights didn't work . Latch on door is unsecured. We did appreciate our upgrade on room as the blonde lady said our first room had been discounted to £100 as the spa bath didn't work and the control knobs were not attached . We also couldn't find the swimming pool and there was no staff available in the morning before check out to help us get things we had left in the previous room . Would have been nice to get a breakfast. Too. When we checked in the blonde lady told us something completely different about our room than we were told on booking.com and by the lady we spoke to on the phone . The blonde lady also interrupted our dinner to go on about some security deposit .?? Very confusing as staff were efficient and courteous and knowledgeable but the blonde lady kept telling us completely different things !
We loved the room and the bath , we loved the restaurant service ! Lovely quiet location we really enjoyed seeing all the friendly little birds on our balcony in the morning.

United KingdomThe bed was a wooden frame and you couldn't sit on it without it creaking and moving so we resorted to moving the mattress onto the floor so that we could have a good night's sleep. A slight movement and I imagine it would wake you. There is no hair dryer or iron in room. Possibly available from the reception?? It advertises as a Restaurant but I would just call it a pub. Food is average.
The apartment and bathroom was clean. I liked having the split floors. Downstairs had a sofa and TV to relax in front of. Stairway up to bedroom area. Comfy mattress. Clean bedding. Pub on site so no need to travel for food and refreshments.

FranceThe property was very dark. Window in the room m, the glass was obviously substandard and needed replaced as it was all steamed up. stain on the centre of the carpet was unsightly. the room was a comfort room but the shower wasn’t very good. it didn’t work properly and no pressure from the handset, my husbands shower went cold. The raised areas on the disabled shower were painted black and the paint was flaking off while having a shower. There was only one tap on the wash basin that didn’t work properly. We realised later that it was a dual hot and cold tap but the top cover on the tap was missing so we thought it was just a cold tap, not a good idea in a bathroom - instructions above the tap would have been helpful. Security not good on the inside of the property. Just a Yale lock! The inside of the lock on the door was fitted with a piece of metal over it to stop you putting the lock on therefore it left it insecure overnight or during the day if you left your room unattended. The green safety Exit Light lit up the room all night therefore kept us awake. People were shouting outside, we had to get up to ask them to quieten down.
