When we arrived, the bathroom was completely wet due to a leak from the ceiling. When we mentioned it to the owner, she immediately cleaned it and we didn't have a problem anymore afterwards.

The accommodation was very easy to reach and close to the sea at the same time, perfect location. The lady who was the owner of the accommodation was very helpful. It was easy to reach her and she immediately helped you with your problem. We also asked to leave our luggage in the accommodation during the day of arrival and departure and this was no problem.

The room was really clean and comfy with plenty of tea and coffee. Check in was easy and the location was perfect for me,close to the sea front and town centre! I would definitely stay again and will be looking to book here when I visit Aberystwyth again in a few months. It was a tad noisy at points during the night but ear plugs were provided so this really wasn't an issue!!

The shower, there was very little water pressure so it was just a trickle. Didn't bother us but there was noice from outside

The temperature really dropped during our stay, no heating had to sleep in socks and jumper, not sure if this was due to owner not turning heating on or radiators not working.

Shower was a bit weedy and not overly hot. Couple in next room enthusiastically (loudly) enjoying each other's company highlighted how compact the hotel is, but thankfully they wore themselves out after a while! Not the hotel's fault though.

Room was very clean and bed was very comfy; there was plenty of tea and coffee supplied, with (unusually) plenty of little milk pots - most hotels are stingy with them! Wifi was easy to connect. It was very quiet in terms of street noise; the secondary glazing probably helped but it was a rainy midweek night too.

The check in was seamless. We were welcomed so nicely by a member of staff who was very helpful. The room was largish with a very large bathroom. It was quiet (Mon/tues) and we were very close to the north beach and the town centre. Would stay again happily.

My only issue was that at night it could be a little noisy, due to proximity to the Pier (which hosts a nightclub) and opposite a chicken shop. I appreciate the efforts to conceal the noise (an extra layer of glazing added to the window, plus two sets of heavy curtains on each) and these did a lot to conceal the noise! However I did have to purchase earplugs. It could be a nice touch to include them at the property for optional use? I managed to sleep there comfortably but I did just want to flag.

It was lovely and clean, I felt safe, and the staff member I ran into was really nice. A great spacious room - I was actually just a solo traveler bit this would’ve worked great for multiple people too.
