Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little noise when neighbours close their front door . Not perfect - a little shabby in areas - scuffs on wall, grout on bathroom floors, corners in bathroom. Need to clean remote controls !!! Bathroom compact. Parking - none at apartments unfortunately and nearby full , except at an expensive carpark . Did park at Q park in the end, which was about a 5 minute walk, so not too bad .( not apartment at fault with this issue)
Very friendly, helpful staff on reception. Good location not too far from Liverpool One . Nearby pubs and takeaways. Clean and tidy . Plenty of towels . Mostly quiet . Plenty tea and coffee . Would recommend- basic but decent enough .

Noise from building site behind - winds caused the problem - seemed like tarpaulins were loosened so it was difficult to sleep as something was flapping around. A choice of softer pillows would be a bonus .

Shower in en-suite was very weak.
The apartment was in a fantastic location, 5 mins from nightlife and shops. It was very good value for money, very clean. The en-suite shower wasn’t good but it was really good in the main bathroom. I will def stay there again.

The location was a backstreet which meant it was difficult to find and was a bit noisy during the night

The size of the apartments are good for a family but there was far too much noise in the apartment below starting at 3am, which spoiled the trip. Staff were good at addressing this when notified but if it’s a place families then others need to be made clear that playing loud music at 3am is not acceptable.
Nice size, staff were helpful and the apartment was clean. Location is good to get to everything.

The couches were exceptionally uncomfortable. You could not sit on them for very long. The street outside is made of cobbles so if you are unsteady on your feet it could prove a challenge.
It was an ideal location close to Albert Dock and Liverpool One. There was so much space in the apartment and it was very clean.

The rain 🤣
Modern Reception dude was super friendly, no dishwasher but luckily they left washing up liquid to use. No balcony I requested and agreed but no biggy. Clean and location good , lights in corridor didn’t work on top flight of stairs. Hot water wasn’t very hot.
