Beautiful room, free parking, lovely breakfast, good location

Great hosts: Hayley and Steve are amazing! Their communication before, during and after our stay was brilliant with a pdf on food recommendations, what to do when we arrived and sightseeing etc. Breakfast was lovely, the room was very nice and the location is spot on, with everything you need, restaurants etc, just around the corner. The guest house was spotless, the room was very nice with a large bathroom and comfy bed, all the staff were warm and friendly, we couldn't recommend this place, highly enough.

What a wonderful accommodation a short walk from the train station! The staff was communicative, friendly, and helpful. My room was lovely- clean, comfortable, and enough space for me- I appreciated the chair, hair dryer, and toiletry products. Several plugs were available, too. I didn't use the dresser since I was only staying for one night, but it was very nice. The breakfast area was spacious, and there were several breakfast choices and beverages- wonderful! There was a sitting area that I would have enjoyed using if I had arrived earlier. Since I'm from the U.S., I don't know when I'll be in the Lake District again, but I wouldn't hesitate to return here!

We rang on the morning to say we'd be arriving earlier than check in. We were told to pop our heads in and they'd take our luggage up for us when the room was ready. On arrival our room was already ready! Host extremely friendly. Lovely building and decor. Room fabulous and breakfast delicious. Oh and on site parking

Later time options to have breakfast, absolutely not a problem but we were keen for a little lie in on our time off work

Everything! A perfect spot for a girly holiday - great breakfast, incredibly comfortable bed and a great selection of teas in the room. Very easy to get around without a car.

Parking a little tight for estate cars when full. Hand basin a little on the small side.

Boutique style. Good communication. Friendly. Onsite parking. Excellent assortment of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies in room. Very comfortable bed and warm room. Very good breakfast. Easy to find location. Quiet.

Everything about this property is superb from arriving to heading home we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was lovely and the location is excellent. Very comfy bed and a nice large shower. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, within 2 minutes walk of the hotel. It is around a 20-30 minute walk down to the lake side and again lots of places to stop along the way as the street is lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. We ate at San Pietro the first night and Tapios the second as recommended by the hotel and both were excellent. 100% will be back thanks.

Beautiful house, amazing decoration and interior. Impressed from the outset. Room was wonderfully comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Welcome and facilities all outstanding. Breakfast was delicious. Genuinely a visit it would be impossible to fault.

We absolutely loved it here! It was so homely and welcoming and so clean that we could not fault it. The room was amazing.The bed was so comfortable I did not want to leave! The room was lovely and quiet. I could not hear anyone else in any other room or outside the room. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly, we will definitely be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely! Perfect location and within very short walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and a good size, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, great service and fresh quality ingredients used. Highly recommend!

The en suite in our room was very small, the shower (no bath) had no anti-slip mat or grips, making it potentially hazardous for the elderly.

A most elegant little hotel five minutes walk from Windermere station. Our beautifully decorated bedroom was rather small, no room for a desk, but a very comfortable huge bed.
