Our room was right at the end and seemed to be above a loud room. The noise (music and talking) was quite loud. When we went back after exploring to get ready at night we could hear it over the TV. It did not affect our stay but would spoil the relaxation for some. Room was quite small to maneuver around with a dog and our luggage. Parking can be a little bit of a walk if you struggle carrying bags.

Very dog friendly hotel; Bowls, dog bed and even a little dog-friendly info brochure were included. Great choice at breakfast and really cozy atmosphere in the bar. We also ate there one night of our stay and the food was lovely. The location is excellent, right in the center, near lots of pubs and the market.

The en suite shower had a door that didn’t fold right back only opened half way so if you are a big individual it’s hard to get in and out of the shower Jo

Was sent across the street for breakfast as it was a quiet day at the hotel and it took 60+ minutes for my breakfast to be served right.

Great breakfast. Great location - right across the Moot hall, walkable to bus stations and hike trails. Was a pleasant surprise to be provided with utensils and bed for my dog.

The reception is a little office right in the corner of the bar and on a sat afternoon was full with tables placed right in front of it. Just not sure this is very GDPR friendly when you’re having to give your details on arrival. It wouldn’t put me off staying again but just may be something that needs thought about.

Booking in as we were late (10:20pm), They kept the bar open so we could get a drink after we had put our bags in the room. Breakfast was very good, as were the staff. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

A problem first night with no hot water in the shower but that rectified itself in the morning. Also there was a bar with a disco which was noisy on the Saturday evening

Nothing that I didn’t really like, it was a bit noisy outside late evening as there is a takeaway next door that everyone uses when the pubs shut, but we expected this with the location. If you like to go to bed early and like quiet then it’s maybe not for you but it didn’t bother us that much and they do provide very good earplugs

The room was at the top of building at the front .. Well decorated and very clean It was just too hot at night with no heating on .. the street lights light the room up with curtains closed up …. And delivery trucks to other stores were banging and clanging at 4 am ..
