Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Drinks at dinner took half an hour to come although restaurant was empty and our food came before drinks which was a poor start. We were served a raw burger at dinner which we sent back and they took it off our final bill. £12 for a watery cocktail I felt was quite steep also.
Rooms were clean. Reception staff were attentive. Pool area and sauna were great and leisure staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with a lot of choice and fresh fruit and fresh cooked items.

signage was confusing in places, the hotel is spread out along long corridors with the facilities such as the restaurant, bar and grill being seperated by multiple long narrow corridors with confusing signage. Easy to get lost looking for the Grill.

The cocktails I felt as thought £12 for a pre made bottled cocktail was very pricey. Wouldn’t recommend to guests staying as very over priced.

breakfast - basically the cooked breakfasts were either lukewarm or actually cold.... fried egg - cold, mushrooms - cold, sausage - warmish, bacon - cold, fried tomato - cold. The plates in the plate warmer were cold, The hotplate wasn't hot.

Everything was fantastic! Only criticism was that breakfast could have been hotter. It was one of the best buffets I have had for breakfast but the hot section wasn't hot. Really nice coffee. Room was lovely and comfy bed.

More machines or a separate counter for drinks.
The food was fine but the set up for tea/coffee was poor. There was only one machine , very slow and long queues. The machine was in a poor location causing a blockage in the passage.

We made a few specific requests to Hotel, all of which were met. Staff were amazing. So helpful. Unfortunately, lower bar/ breakfast area is currently undergoing refurbishment. This resulted in having to go to The Grill (Level One). Although a lift was available, the walk did cause my husband some difficulty. Cost of beverages. 😱
Paid £24 for breakfast for two. Our timing was poor as some items were due to be replenished. However, staff were alert and constantly checked buffet was topped up. Disappointed ‘scrambled egg ‘ had to be pre ordered. Didn’t have time to wait. On reflection, don’t think we would purchase breakfast again.

Only downfall would be pool facilities, although good size pool and has sauna/steam room it is smaller so does fill up quite quickly. But still really enjoyed the use of facilities.
Property is easy to get to, and although close to housing it feels more country. The staff were exceptional from the beginning, everybody said hello which was a nice touch. Buffet breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and you don’t have to wait around for food. Room was great size and option of bath and separate shower which adds more class. Will definitely be returning again.

The wind 😂
Played the golf course in March, bad idea 💡 Go in the summer everyone I can imagine then it would be a quality course. Beginning of march with a wind chill of 0 degrees was not ideal to say the least, the hills an the wind were brutal 😂 Got to see a load of deer running about too though so it was a good experience or though a tough one 😂😂

Leisure facilities ie at the pool more hand rails are required at steps going into and out of the pool at both sides especially at the sauna side! I felt unsafe especially going back into pool from that side.
