The breakfast was a bit of a let down. No teaspoons anywhere. I had to ask for a fork as only tablespoons and knife on table. Coffee machine had only tea and coffee no hot chocolate.I had to walk to find milk.no napkins and only scrambled egg on offer but I did ask and they cooked fried eggs for me.The tip of one of the servers fell off and nearly landed on the floor.Apple and orange juice was very cheap tasting.

The spa was amazing.i loved the steam room,sauna,spa pool. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. The beds were very comfy and the room was nice.

On driving out of the car park I could not see a sign showing exit. Maybe an Exit signage could be erected

The room was so tired. The paint job was peeling. The curtains were stained. The bathroom was like a grandmas place and had seen better days. The worst was you could hear the next door neighbours like they were in the same room. At 2am I had to bang on the wall to get them to whisper.

Staff - from the door man / reception at midnight on arrival , to the lady greeting at breakfast or the cleaning lady on check out Everyone was friendly happy helpful kind The bed and the pillow were really good

The room was a little dark and a touch small but I was there for work and it served me well. I'd still go back if I was in the area.

Excellent check in and check out experience, the desk staff did a great job. The room was ok, nothing special but it served a purpose. The food and drink were very good, great selection of food and the staff were nice.

The overwhelming presence of huge TV screens on virtually every wall in the public areas was dreadful, distracting and ridiculous.

Friendly, everything was as advertised, basic room but very comfortable, excellent bath/shower.

Room was a little tired around the edges, particularly the bathroom, also could hear some noises from the room above but ear plugs sorted that!

exceptional staff at check in, and a great breakfast. Great swimming pool and gym facilities. Nice pub and grill on site to have a meal too.

Swimming pool water quite cold and family changing room quite dated and dirty. Restaurant prices very high, we didn’t use the restaurant for this reason!

Good location near the train station and not far into Manchester City centre. Comfy beds and good pressure on the shower. Pool area nice although water quite cold and family changing room quite dated and dirty.

They had scheduled workmen to do some work next to our room which started at 8am and lasted all day! It was very noisy!

Cleanliness of plates and cutlery for breakfast appalling Standard of cleaning in room poor Check in process is unacceptable Took way too long especially as member of staff took a lengthy phone call rather than focussing on check in. The issue is they use a self check in process that does not work. It asks for details already provided and can not cope with 1 Guest booking breakfast for 1 day of a two day stay. Needs manual adjustment which failed when we tried to get breakfast 2. Car parking needs manual adjustment 3. leisure centre pass needs manual adjustment 4. After all this room key did not work Problem with breakfast on second day when the staff did not know how to cope with someone paying on line (which they encourage you to do in room)
