Debbie and Craig went out of their way to ensure that we had a good stay. The availability of a 'platter - ham, pate, cheese, bread, biscuits, chutney' on our arrival was very welcome. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast excellent with freshly laid eggs and local sausages. The location is good with plenty of places to visit nearby. The bathroom was roomy with a bath and good shower - and big fluffy towels - a real treat!

Nothing not to like. Just keep it the way it is, please.

The rooms were spacious, equipped with everything you will need, and packed with delightful period features. The house is listed and is 600 years old! Debbie and Craig have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. They are so friendly and helpful. The choice at breakfast is wonderful, with lots of homemade and locally produced items available. Thanks to 'the girls' for the really tasty eggs. This is just perfect for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing break away with friends.

All was good, nothing to complain about.

We were visiting Ludlow and the house was a bit far from Ludlow (9-10miles), but not critical as we enjoyed the drive too. The building was a bit secluded, but the ambience was awesome. The hosts were great, and the black friendly and cuddly pussy cat were a bonus as both of us like cats! :)

Nothing was too much trouble for Craig and Debbie and we felt very welcome. The house has loads of character and we were fascinated by its history and loved the period details. Lovely room with four poster bed and separate sitting room, watch out for low beams if you’re tall! Breakfasts were excellent, plenty of choice and a great vegetarian option.

We loved the location of the property , the peace and quiet, the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious and confortable. Very nice and welcoming host who made us feel relaxed and at home. The breakfast was delicious, prepared using high quality local produce , nicely cooked and in great quantities.Loved the home made apple juice and stewed fruit and the freshly picked strawberries. I am not a breakfast person usually, but I must say I was looking forward to my breakfast at Walford court. The homemade cookies, muffins and cake were also a very nice touch.

The location is quiet, the house is beautiful (if you like old buildings which have been lovingly restored) and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The surrounding countryside is lovely and there are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area. There is also a cat called Kitten who stole our hearts. The breakfasts are excellent with a great choice of food.

Having to leave at the end of our stay, wish we had longer to stay.

Fantastic hosts, very attentive without being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble for Craig and Debbie we left feeling truly spoilt. The room platter was value for money, really tasty and the homemade pickled vegetables and chutney was first class. The endless supply of homemade cakes left out were a real treat and very much appreciated. Breakfast was of the highest standard using homegrown produce. Their home ouses history, full of character and we loved its wonky features. Every possible need has been thought of down to the tiniest detail. Our stay was a true memory maker.

Debbie and Craig were wonderful hosts and we felt completely at home at Walford Court. We visited Shropshire for a wedding and made a very last minute booking and they were so accommodating even when we kept them up late to check in! The breakfast was incredible and Debbie went the extra mile to be considerate of my dietary requirements. We also enjoyed hanging out with the hens in the garden! Thank you so much for a lovely and memorable stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

Beautiful room, so characterful and comfortable everything you need, as much as you want tea and coffee, fresh muffins every day and the warmest of welcomes. The breakfast was perfect, fresh eggs from the hens in the garden, meat from the local butcher. A delicious light supper was provided with a personal service and home-cooked food. The hosts even waited up late for us to arrive past bedtime and were still so warm and welcoming. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Walford Court. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the English breakfast with locally sourced produce was the best we’ve ever had. The beds was comfortable and the bedroom was spacious with an en suite with a bath and and an adjoining personal sitting room. Coffee and tea making facilities were provided and fresh milk each day. It was special being in a listed timber framed building with its sense of centuries of history and being away from the road the setting was very peaceful.

Be aware that this suite has beams at awkward heights = head injury! Other rooms are great, no beams, and also beautiful. With the age and listing of the property that is not surprising, and adds to the charm. As a consequence, it is not disabled friendly, and there is no lift.

The suite was beautiful - this is a black and white house with tremendous history - 500 plus years old. So - uneven floors (only a bit) open beams, rustic, yet very special. The room - well suite - was big - really big - with a most wonderful and comfortable four poster bed. The mod-cons are there but in a more subtle format than usual. Owners welcoming - very - and relaxed. What was extra special is they have a castle in the garden - the remains of the old mott & bailey.

Our whole 2 night experience was exceptional from the warm smiling friendly welcome on arrival to the scrummy lemon drizzle cake in the room and the absolutely delicious cooked breakfast. Walford Court was SPECTACULAR. Debbie and Craig were amazing hosts and managed to accommodate our dietary needs - gluten free and diary free - even on a last minute booking. The room was stunning, as was the breakfast. If there was an 11 out of 10 I'd give it!
