The restaurant was closed for renovation which was unfortunate.

Leisure facility- pool, sauna was easily accessible. Fully functioning kitchen for the family to cook meals on days we didn't want to eat out. Wonderful cottage for family to stay and spend time with each other in the living room and dining room. Small drive to Barton Marina for great restaurants. Perfectly placed in between Birmingham, Peak District and Nottingham!

Would have been much better if they would have hade a bar on site and a restaurant. Just to make it more relaxing .I would like to stay in a lodge next time we visit

We liked the accommodation it was very clean and comfortable .lots of room and very well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful especially to wards the grandchildren .

The staff were very attentive if you enjoy Downton abbey it's a must murder mystery is perfect for this place maybe on the lawn of the mannor or 😇behind the high wall at the back of the greenhouse that's my bet anyhou we're taking the grand daughter next month praise indeed Andrea and kevint

Whilst shampoo / shower gel dispenser was in shower and over bath, there was no soap provided for basins - take your own.

3 bedroom cottage in courtyard was clean, warm, spacious and well equipped. Double (ensuite), twin and single bedrooms upstairs with bathroom (shower over bath). Downstairs lounge area with 2 sofas (one converts to double sofa bed), dining area and kitchen. Kitchen was compact but very well equipped for self catering with fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher (2 tablets provided), various pots & pans, lots of glasses & crockery, kettle & coffee machine (with welcome pack) and washing machine (2 tablets provided and clothes airer and pegs). Enclosed private patio area with table and chairs. Lovely leisure centre with large heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. We also enjoyed the mini (crazy) golf.

Lacked atmosphere, as self catered. An improvement opportunity.

The accommodation was great for three adults and a young one .There is plenty of space in the apartment with very good facilities. Such as ovens, dish washers etc . Staff and text concierge, super.

Squeaky / noisy upstairs floor boards

Clean, nicely furnished, comfy beds, little thoughtful touches like eco friendly measures, kids plastic crockery, washing up liquid / cloths loved the pool / leisure area as small and not too busy, beautiful grounds to walk in.

The road to hotel large bumps, I have a sport car so wasn't ideal. But except of this all was fantastic 👏 👌 🙂

There are no bar or restaurant facilities on site. There are also a number of severe pot holes on the main access road which should be attended to asap.

Lovely location. Very well appointed apartment and very spacious. Professional and pleasant staff. Definitely recommend.

I do have a couple of minors the fact you can't check in till 4Pm which in my opinion is late and I've never stayed anywhere with that late of a check in and also a 10am out the next morning again very rare to have to check out that early!! Also there is no on site bar or restaurant which is really a shame as the facilities are there on site! I do have to stress these are minor 🙃

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in stunning grounds the views were to die for! Amazing value for money staff on reception were lovely pm & am highly recommended 😀

The access road is a bit difficult but in exchange you get a quite and nice place to relax after hours.

All up and running perfectly well. The cleaning is optimum and the facilities are unique in the area.
