Im an instant coffee fan so the pod machine was not my thing.

this was a great stop for exploring the forest of dean and seeing the severn bore. the staff were friendly attentive and flexable about times and food requests portions were generous and breakfast was very good

The only gripe I have was the noise from the staff at night while they were in the kitchen area , which was next to our room.

The size of the room was very good and warm. It was easy for my disabled mum to get around. The bed was comfy. The shower is good, too. There was a small table and chairs in the room. There are a few mirrors in the room, too. Tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

Unfortunately there was bingo night, so had to hurry to get still something to eat. As well breakfast was not available for a departure at 08:00

Rooms were overall good, spacious. Service people made the best out of the limitations due to Bingo night

A little bit too noisy 10-12PM as the pub is quite popular on Saturday night (Bingo night) a pretty fast road nearby as well. Good hearing between the ground and the first floor of family rooms. The price could be competitive but breakfast is not included so +- the same as everywhere.

Clean and prepared room. Nice personal, not many rules mentioned anywhere. The kitchen is good and works till late (9PM). Big parking.

Unfortunately it was room only price and they didn't start serving food till 11am, so unfortunately we couldn't have breakfast before we had our book appointment as we had to be at app for 10am. Plus on the day we checked out we wanted to have a look around gloster itself but if we stayed there till 11 to eat breakfast/brunch it then limited our day plans as most attractions were 10-4 opening times, so unfortunately had to find alternatives for breakfast.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and the food was amazing. The room was lovely and was a bonus that the TV had netflix, Amazon prime plus loads of other channels not just your basic ones. Plus it had a dvd player in case of rainy or just chillin days. There was even biscuits at the tea and coffee I the room plus cappuccino and hot choc instead of just the basic tea and coffee options. The courtyard buy accommodation was rely lovely and considering next to a busy road was nice and quiet. Great location for our stay as barn cookery school was just up the road. Rely helpful and friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble.

The food was plentiful and good. It is not easy to see the sights or go anywhere without a vehicle.

Room 3 toilet needs a bit of fixing when you get off the toilet it makes a noise so I think it’s a bit loose buts that’s all

Being critical, the downsides were - our room was next to the kitchen so we were woken up earlier than we'd have liked. The gravel court yard also meant all footsteps were quite noticeable. The mattress could have been more comfortable - it felt very cheap.

The room was a reasonable size and recently decorated. The staff were all very friendly and the attached pub was nice to have (we only stopped in for a drink).

The room was very hot we opened all the windows but it was still too stuffy to sleep It needs a fan in the room. the bed was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs in the mattress it needs a new mattress

We had a problem with TV which they tried to help us solve but without success and one laptop would only work in the main building but iPads and phones worked successfully in room

Food was very good varied menu good quality and quantity Breakfast was not included and choice is from a menu which had everything but every individual item priced Not like sitting down to an English breakfast of cereal cooked breakfast tea coffee fruit juice although it was all available However our choices were delicious
