We loved staying in this villa - great facilities and lovely pool and terrace. Village only a short stroll away (less than 10 minutes) with a few lovely restaurants and supermarket for provisions and groceries. Falasarna beach only 10 minute drive (big carpark right by the beach). Very peaceful and relaxing and Dimos is a wonderful host!

Gorgeous villa in a fab location. Dimos was a fantastic host - gave us a range of groceries and fresh fruit on arrival and delicious cakes! The small village is perfect for having dinner out in the evening - there are a few great tavernas close by - and a small supermarket with everything you need (fresh vegetables, bread and other groceries). The village is only a short walk (less than 10 mins) from the villa. Pool is fab - and we loved the evening visitors of swooping swallows! The beautiful Falasarna beach is only a 10 minute drive away too. We would definitely return - thanks so much Dimos!

Nothing we didn’t like

Amazing villa set peacefully on edge of village. Few minutes drive to stunning beaches. Bakery, shop, taverns walkable from the villa. Host was fabulous and so helpful, he really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. Villa had everything we needed and more.

Just some small details could be improved. No furniture (only one chair) at upstairs terrace, moldy smell from kitchen cabinets. And, given that this is a luxury villa at a fairly high price, we were surprised to find no kitchen supplies whatsoever. Some salt, pepper, oil, water and a few nespresso cups would have been a nice addition.

Lovely villa on the edge of Platanos village. Great terrace to sit at night. Location is perfect, 10 min drive to Falasarna beaches and Kissamos, taverna and restaurants at walking distance. Cleaning every 2-3 days. Even though the villa has 2 apartments, both sides are facing the other way and it feels very private.

First of all great location, not far from a village with a decent supermarket, bakeries and pharmacy. 5 minutes walk to a great taverna, with others not far away. Falasarna beach is about 10 minutes away by car or 50 minutes downhill walk. 1 hour to Chania and 10 minutes by car to Kissamos with more shops and a bigger supermarket. The house is a nice size for 4, so even better for the 2 of us. Nice pool, though at this time of year the sea was a bit warmer, however it was still ok on the hot days. Well equipped with plenty of towels, including beach towels, lots of kitchen equipment, though a toaster and bread knife would have been appreciated. Good internet speed and Netflix access. Aircon available everywhere though we didn't use it. Dimos is a wonderful host who is always willing to help out; he even gave us a goody bag just before we left.

The property was larger than expected and set in a fantastic position with stunning views! Situated within close proximity to supermarket and only a short drive to the most beautiful beach 🏖 The host was amazing. We got lost trying to find the Villa after a few hours delayed flight and he was able to come find us on his moped to follow him back. The villa was comfortable and clean with Netflix which helped with the kids! 😅 Everything was perfect! We would definitely recommend Adam Villas and we’d love to visit again. Thank you Dimos and team

Pillows - stuffed and rather firm The Princess in me prefers a softer pillow Seeing the bigger house and pool next door…. Wonder if I should come back with friends and rent that one!

The pool was huge, deep and didn’t smell of chlorine. It was cleverly positioned so never overlooked by the neighbours. we had everything we needed and all was super clean. There was a welcome basket of fruit and milk and juice in the fridge. The house was breezy so cool up on the hillside with a dramatic mountain view. We had Netflix - very home from home. Our host Dimos was very helpful, informative, kind and welcoming

The property owner was extremely warm and friendly. The villa itself was huge, solidly built and furnished with beautifully crafted wood furniture.

The villa is idyllic and is exactly as described. The facilities are great, and we were provided with everything we needed as a family (baby bed and high chair etc.) The location is peaceful and quiet with wonderful views and shops and restaurants within walking distance. Falasarna is just down the road and is a little piece of paradise with many different beaches and lots of restaurants. Our host could not have been more helpful and hospitable, even driving straight to the villa when our son was ill to help us get him to a doctor. Could not have had a more pleasant stay!

Adam Villas surpassed our expectations. Situated in the outskirts of the small village of Platanos it is an ideal location for those seeking calm and serenity, facilities are excellent, a number of great beaches (Falassarna, Balos and Elafonisi) are nearby, and so is Chania, Paleochora and Samara gorge for those seeking to do some sightseeing (highly-recommended!). Our host Dimos exemplified philoxenia and philotimo, the greek words for hospitality and doing the right thing! Couldn't have had a more pleasant stay!

It was a grate holiday in Adams Villa! The Villa itself is located grate, really close to Falasarna beach and to Kissamos. It has an amazing view of the seaside and the hills around Platanos with pool and a lot of space, internal and external. As a major plus Dimos (the owner) is a genuinely kind and welcoming host. 10/10 well deserved

Fantastic villa at a great location! Swimming pool is beautiful. Upon arrival the host welcomed us. Illy coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, bread, butter etc was already arranged by him. The day after he brought us delicious cakes. The house had all we needed. Airco was also convenient. The cleaning lady came every 3 days to clean the entire house and to change towels (incl beach towels). We for sure would recommend this place as it has all you need. Area also great, beautiful beaches and good restaurants in the area. Supermarkets walking distance and a great bakery in the neighborhood as well.

The villa was stunning, it made the holiday feel so special with all the traditional Cretan design. The pool was the perfect temperature. The views from the villa were amazing with the mountains and the sea, it was set in a small village which had an amazing bakery. The beach was nice and close and had gorgeous restaurants nearby. Adam and Dimos made the experience really nice, bringing cakes and treating us to a lovely meal at their Tavern. Overall everything was perfect and had everything you could ask for.
