Some shelves for clothes in the living room and a shelf in the bathroom would be very handy. Sometimes we were disturbed by guests smoking in the swimming pool area next to our room.

Great location, close to the beach and the bus stop. Very friendly hosts. Room cleaning every day. Washing mashine on the ground floor. All necessary kitchen stuff in every room. Spacious balcony. Amazing swimming pool with a section for kids.

Nice property,beach right across the street!We like Bora Bora and Manolis beach club where you can take sun beds for free with your order(manolis gyros was awesome) Stela And Joana who works at the property make you feel very welcome and they try to do everything to help you! Really appreciate that! Little gifts for my son and me also appreciate! Property had wash machine (free)to wash your clothes! It’s about 25 min t On foot to old town! We don’t mind walking,it’s very nice walk on the promenade next to the beach

The room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, only a 2-minute walk from lovely beaches. Above all, the value for money is great, and I would recommend anyone coming to Rethymno to stay here.

The WiFi is extremely spotty and slow (but I guess that's just most apartments in Greece). The kitchen could use some improvement and some extra utensils (it's a bit hard trying to make-do with what they have when you want to make a quick lunch).

While there's no sea view from this hotel due to it being in the second row of buildings, the location is ideal as the beach is a minute away. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels changed every 2 days - the cleaning lady is extremely nice! We arrived late and were greeted with olive oil and some snacks in our room. The pool is nicely secluded in the back of the hotel and there are times when you might be the only person there. Also, don't miss out on the roof terrace, it has a sea view!

It sounds silly but… Soaps. The ones with were already there had such a strong odour we had to threw them away. Also, the scent in the corridor and the hall of the hotel was very strong, but it doesn’t reach the room, fortunately.

Hotel is close to the beach (3 min walk), but not on the Main Street so it is quiet at night. The welcome gifts were so unexpected and nice! Fruits, juice, water, raki, tea, biscuits and small glass bottle of Cretan olive oil! Thank you, it was very heart-warming! The bed is comfortable, the room and the balcony - spacious, bathroom very clean and neat. Our room was cleaned after first night which was also unexpectedly nice:). Near-by there is a great taverna - Taverna Raeti, very good and not so pricy food (comparing to others in Rethymno!) Also, very good coffee place next to the primary school - Cafe Sto Podi - 66 Pachla street. You will find shops, bakeries and 2 supermarkets near-by as well. To reach the Rethymno city center you have to walk 2,4 km but along the shore, which is very relaxing. Also, the hotel’s pool area is very cosy.

The smell from the room we stayed was a little strong, maybe due to lack of ventilation, but no big deal.

The staff was suuuper friendly and welcomed us with some small gift. The place is very close to the beach and not far from the city center, although there are several nice restaurants in the area.

The suite was great. The rooms are large. The hotel has a swimming pool. Nice and helpful staff. The room has air conditioning and everything you need for cooking. Parking is very close to the hotel for a comfortable price. Near beaches, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The city center is in a 20-25 minutes walk along the beautiful promenade. It's very nice to walk in the evening, but it's hot during the day. The beach in three minutes away. The hotel is very quiet, not noisy.

Nice hotel 1 minute to beach and 5 minutes to big supermarkets. Quiet at night. Big thanks to reception lady (mourning time) - she helped in everything and did the best for us. Helpful staff is the big advantage of the hotel.

There was a strange smell (like goats) in the bathroom which actually was coming from the soaps. On the website of the hotel there is comment that parking is free but there's no parking. The first room that was offered to us was a little outdated.

The bathroom was brand new. There were some waters and fruits as welcome gift in the fridge. They changed our room.

I would like to be more quiet. You could hear everything especially at the ground floor. Studios looked more like rooms very close to each other.

The hotel is very near to the beautiful Bora Bora beach, there are supermarkets and lot’s of restaurants around. Furthermore as it is not situated on the main street it is very peaceful there. It has a very clean pool in the backyard, a washing machine for free downstairs and very friendly stuff. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment and even more. Inside the building and in the apartments it is quite pleasant and not too hot. We were positively surprised by all the presents like olive oil, fruits, juices etc. which were there for the guests. The stuff reacts also very professionally and warm hearted to any queries one might have. I would like to mention Georgia, who was making our stay an experience to remember, finding and keeping a pair of shoes I forgot, being very responsive to all our questions. Thank you Georgia and thank you Emilia Hotel. You deserve a minimum of 5 Stars!
