Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A small, friendly, family run hotel which is kept incredibly clean and with the benefit of a fresh water swimming pool. Breakfast very good and constantly refilled. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day. Great staff! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was perfect!
The hotel is fabulous. The room was very big and clean, with comfortable bed and very luxury bathroom. The pool area was very clean with a lot sunbeds and umbrellas. The breakfast at the morning was very delicious and I really want to thanks to Christina which was very polite whit us. When she saw us that we are around the food court she came and explained us everything how is cooked, offered us a juice, coffee and explained us about the Syvota area. I also want to thanks to the rest of the staff which were always around us and we needed something they helped us. The location for us was also perfect, since we like don’t like to be exactly at the centre of the town with the crowd. The centre is 10 minutes by walking and 2 minutes with car.

There was nothing we didn't like.
The kindness of the staff. Lovely breakfasts with hot and cold choices, plenty of sweet and savoury options too. Extraordinarily clean and comfortable. Towels changed daily. Fabulous swimming pool.

Small critique, add small face towel in the bathrooms :)
The staff was very friendly, and especially the receptionist. Very approachable and pleasant. Breakfast was yummy. Lots to choose from and coffee was smooth. I normally don't drink black coffee, but this was so flavourful that I did. 10 out 10 recommend.

The WiFi coverage is terrible. You can't even find the WiFi network when you go further into the room or on the balcony. Also the WiFi speed is sub-par even compared to the local coffee shops and restaurants. If your stay depends on a good internet connection (due to work or otherwise) I would suggest you either buy a local sim card with mobile data or look for other options. The bathroom door is a piece of glass, which makes any business you do there not private at all. If you're sharing a room with colleagues or if your partner doesn't like hearing your toilet ordeals that might be of a concern. The walls or door towards the hallway aren't very soundproof so anything in the hallway you can hear pretty clearly. Walls otherwise are also not super soundproof so you still can hear the odd baby cry should there be one in a nearby room. There is no bug screen on the balcony door (which is weird because most places in Greece have this), which made leaving the door open for the fresh cool night air somewhat of a painful pleasure due to the abundance of mosquitos in Syvota.
Very clean. Great staff. Housekeeping every day - fresh towels, bed linen and general cleanup. Breakfast buffet was always fresh and tasty with great coffee and good selection. There was hot water all around the clock. Bed was super comfortable which is so important! Both hard and soft pillows provided too. Plenty of space in room and closets. Good size balcony. There is a fridge in the room. Furniture is overall new and good. The whole hotel is very nice and clean, dining area and bar are well laid out and plenty of room around the pool both for breakfast but also for otherwise leisure or relaxation or hanging out. There is a TV with the basic channel selection. AC unit worked well, plenty cool air (only works with balcony door closed which is a good environmental measure).

We were charged €15 for a plate of chips but agreed on a lesser payment . No apology given €4 for a small glass of wine Overcharged for water that was again resolved Standard 2 slice toaster for a full hotel

A bit pricey!!
Location was good to explore Sivota and the surroundings. Breakfast was the american classic (eggs bacon etc) + yogurt (was really good). The room was big enough for a couple. Bathroom and Bed were the highlights. Really comfortable
