The location of the hotel was fantastic, we loved the breakfast buffet as it was abundant in fresh and local products, cleanliness throughout the property was evident and the entire staff’s attitude and manners were impeccable. We highly recommend the Ammos Hotel to anyone looking to stay on Skyros.

Great location, on a walkable distance from the beach and the main village. Clean room and premises, while the staff was super friendly and polite. Highly recommend to stay there if your are a couple and want to relax and decompress.

Beautiful reworking of the traditional style houses.. however be prepared to walk, as these settlements are non-automobile access - only walking routes - and the property is on a mild slope less 20m below the main road. But beautiful views and breakfast: one of the best, including traditional pastries!

Steep step access to and from the hotel entrance. We upgraded to a larger suite which gave us an upstairs room. It was super easy to the pool which we loved, and the view was fabulous, but the steep stairs to our bedroom less so. the shower room was small and dark, though modern and clean. We missed having tea making facilities in our room. We could not visit with anyone with a mobility challenge, the access to most things on the island and the hotel is too problematic. But if you’re fit it’s ideal.

Great location for us, near the major beaches and walk to the village (though steep on both counts). The addition of a pool was great and the ocean views from our room were spectacular. The room was modern and well-maintained. Breakfast on the pool terrace was generous and in a lovely setting. The poolside couches were a stylish a feature. The whole place was cute. The staff were awesome.

In a very good location this hotel offers very clean, comfortable and stylish rooms decorated to the detail. Breakfast is of good quality, offering some local specialities. Staff very kind and helpful

This is an upscale hotel for Skyros. it did not disappoint. Staff are excellent. Food was great. Main beach is 5 min walk. We will return to this property when we come back!

The room (standard room) was really small. There is no private parking.

Good breakfast. Nice pool (although with salt water). Very kind staff. Elegant furniture. The beach is just 150 meters distance.

1. I would have more appreciated if the delicious breakfast options would have been covered as it is not inspiring to see flies on the dishes. 2. I didn't like that not all windows were equipped with mosquitoes screens.

Only annoyance for us (older couple) was the noise from babies crying and playing children screaming between 11 am and 11 pm so a bit tough to enjoy the beautiful pool and veranda unless we wore earplugs. First world problems :)

There was nothing that we disliked

Great Hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and well furbished. Very nice relaxing environment. Excellent local food prepared by the Chef. My partner is coeliac and gluten free breakfast and meals were specially prepared for her. It was a lovely stay at the Ammos and we will highly recommend.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel. If there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room that would have been superb!

This is a fabulous hotel to stay in. There are many positives- it has a fabulous location probably the best on the island, the private terrace was wonderful, breakfast was delicious and each day a different variety of food, the room was spacious and extremely clean. All the staff were very friendly, warm and engaging. Annie and Stefano were extremely helpful in organizing our rental car and airport transfer as well as offering great travel advice for other areas of Greece.

Visited Skyros Ammos hotel and highly recommend it. Absolutely stunning view after sunset. The exterior and interior of the hotel is beautiful. Suite was simple perfect with nice decor. We ordered the a light meal at the poolside bar and an amazing cocktails. All was delicious and tasty. Our waiter he provided us with an excellent service. Overall the staff are fantastic! Would come back again!

Was a great stay experience. The ambiance was very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff were also friendly are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Fast check in and very elegant front desk. Room was exquisite, spotless and nice decorated. All in all was a great experience.

Amazing hotel, on the seafront of beautiful Magazia, very safe for vacation. When we arrived they offered us a free welcome drink. Very kind movement! Hotel had a nice decorated and clean rooms. Had a great time in the wonderful pool. The town was really interesting, great night life with lots of people in the cafeterias and restaurants. Delicious food and lovely places to take long walks and explore the history and culture of this full-of - history area. Highly recommended without hesitate!

An oasis of comfort in one of the most beautiful island. From the front desk to the housekeeping, all were attentive and polite. Spotless and beautiful room, with many amenities inside. Wifi was available and it was fast in whole hotel venues. Pool was spacious and clean with nice view also to the ocean. I'll recommend it as a good choice for everyone who want to visit Skyros island.
