Needs a better mirror (ideally full length) for getting ready to go out. The walk back from town was a bit of a slog, but workable.

Nothing of note. If you were there a long time a washing machine would be useful although I feel sure if you asked them they would have happily provided a laundry service. Most people wouldn’t need it anyway. It is really hard to fault.

Beautifully kept accommodation. Great facilities Stunning views over the bay and the town Great pool Nearby lovely beach and serviced sun beds at a very reasonable rate and close to nice restaurant. The Hosts (Giotto and George) were incredible.

All was good, nothing to explain

The apartment was super relaxed and we had everything available to just stay in and enjoy our holidays. But of course we also explored the island and the apartment is situated perfectly for exploring the Southern part of the island. Yiota was super nice and welcoming us and giving us tips and helping us out when needed.

We are really at a loss for words of how amazing our stay at Amphitheatre suites was, and not to mention how genuine, caring, professional, friendly and welcoming Giota and her staff was. The people working here is really what makes the experience not just a wonderful stay, but a cherished and memorable stay because the place is already perfect. Nothing was too much to ask, if there was something we wondered or a small problem, Giota was instantly on it and with a passion! She makes the most delicious cheesepies and everything she did for us, really felt like it was from her heart. This is a host we really appreciated and we felt lucky and blessed that she was our host. Now, the place itself..10/10. The most beautiful view overseeing Paleochora, gorgeous apartment, super clean, classy, functional, exceptional staff..panoramic view.. We had everything we needed, maaaybe wifi couldve been better but honestly it was a minor thing in comparison to everything else. Amphitheatre suites and paleokchora is an amazing combination, but its Giota, her attentiveness, caring nature and good energy that makes this place the rare gemstone it actually is. Thanks to the whole team for having us!

We loved this apartment with stunning views over the sea and towards the town. Spacious stylish comfortable with a lovely balcony and bathroom. It is a short walk/drive from town so really quiet and convenient location. Giota was a hugely welcoming and charming host who gave us restaurant tips, cheese pies and help when I injured my eye. highly recommended and would go back in a heartbeat.

the location was a bit too far for us to walk into town (a little farther than we expected). The hot tub suite was a bit cramped. the rooms would benefit from a sheet with directions on how to run the stove, dishwasher, and air conditioner.

the view from the rooms was amazing. the one bedroom suite was very comfortable. i loved the balcony. the owner was beyond great. she left us snacks(homemade) and wine upon our arrival. the bed was comfortable. the location. was quiet and peaceful.

Everything was nice, we are quite big so bed with 180 cm * 200 cm would be even better. But it was very comfortable also as of now.

There wasn't access to a communal swimming pool

Beautiful brand new apartment and amazing views of the town and beach. Only 20 min slow walk downhill to the town and beach, quite steep uphill coming back to the suite, but totally worth walking. Giota the landlord was so helpful and really treated us for our first wedding anniversary, very generous host and very quick for any issues to be sorted - thank you Giota. Location is perfect for Elfonsi beach to drive to, a must visit! When you drive or walk down to the town, you must go to the other side, only 2 mins walk, there is lots of restaurants and bars viewing the mountains, gorgeous! Just to note for booking there is no communal pool, only the grand suites have private pools, message owner if confused as we booked thinking there was a communal pool due to the photos. Perhaps something extra for future - yoga matts for each apartment, these would lovely to do yoga on on the balcony.

To short but we come back!

If you want to experience a top holiday, this is the right place. The house is located on a hillside with a phenomenal view of the sea and the village of Paleochora. On arrival we were greeted by Mrs Iota, the owner of the house, who showed us to our suite and gave us homemade snacks and a bottle of wine. Our suite was on the top floor with two terraces, one with a fabulous jacuzy and two very comfortable sun loungers, the other with a table chairs and armchairs. The extremely spacious room is designed and furnished with very modern and contemporary taste. Everything is of high quality, especially the wall insulation and the windows with mosquito nets. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, as is the bathroom with a very large shower. Very comfortable sprung bed and very functional furniture. Iota also gave us very good advice on where to eat in Paleochora. Two of the other suites in the house have private pools. All the suites have doors connecting them with each other. Ideal for large families! Everything was so good that we never wanted to leave. We will definitely return. Thank you Iota!

We had a great stay at Amphitheatre suites. The apartment is ideally located in Paleochora - 5/10 mins from Paleochora’s dreamy beaches (2 mins by car) and isolated from the crowd. The suite was spacious, fully equipped with a great view on the sea. If you are lucky enough you will have even find some homemade cakes baked by super nice owner Giota at your arrival. We will be back for sure!! :-)

Giota was a great host. She provided us with great tips, brought us Cretan pies and cake, available all the time and came over within minutes. The appartment was very modern and clean. Great kitchen with everything you could need. Beds were also amazing. The whole apartment front had a view over the sea. Will definitely come back.

Open plan master bedroom and shower room was a bit odd!

Beautiful Infinity pool, stunning sea view, walking distance to town with plentiful lovely restaurants, comfy beds and high quality linen. The branded robes and complimentary toiletries were a nice touch too . Our host Giota could not have been more helpful - she even left Cretan pies and pizza for us on arrival as we had a late flight!
