Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

No Airco!
Very friendly reception. Quiet room with a (distant) view on a church. Not too far from the center of the city. Good breakfast.

The air conditioning could have been better. It was not strong enough to make the room cooler.
The room looks very modern inside. Has 2 TVs. Around 10-15 mins walk to the center Staff were very friendly There are nearby stores Has balconies Has its own kitchen

There was nothing to really dislike but it was a little congested at Breakfast time - but it was not really a problem if you waited and came back in 5- 10min for breakfast.
A lovely welcoming place. Staff lovely and helpful. Really smart and clean. Easy to walk to town and town beach -10-15 min. Convenience store/ pharmacy/ confectioners/ bakery/ restaurants and supermarket all in close enough proximity. Quieter area but still lots of life. Rooms sound proof the outside. Internal Mosquito nets on sliding patio doors are great. Great size of rooms.- we had the double, kids had a comfy sofa bed in the lounge room. Really up to date and new decor.. Long balcony.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The room was spotless with both the sofa bed and bed very comfy. Little outdoor area with a drying rack very useful. Water and juice in the fridge for us! Parking outside. A bit of a walk to the old town. Was a little cold over night, needed an extra blanket. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nothing - it was a superb hotel!
Amazing, spacious apartment, with all facilities! The staff were very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was very generous with plenty of choice (traditional Greek, continental, hot food, yoghurt, dried fruits and cereal. The location was only a 10 minute walk from the main shopping/ harbour area and good base to visit local archaeological sites. We would very highly recommend!!

The hotel is located next to a school which was pretty loud in the morning.
The staff at the hotel are very kind and helpful. The room is very nice and modern. Lots of variety in the breakfast, including warm eggs and ham.

Small matter but we didn’t like the shampoo & body wash provided…
Love the location. Very convenient. We didn’t have to drive the whole 2 days we stayed there; places to visit & nice restaurants are all around within walking distance. Did I mention the staff were all super friendly & helpful?! Good job!

Breakfast could have been a little better if they had provided normal coffee, not vanilla coffee. Too sweet for me.

Its not a 5 minute walk to Old Town. At least 14. Next,door is a construction site so the building noise starts early morning.

It would be nice if you had a bigger balcony and small dining table inside of the apartmant because room has a lot of space.
Room was great, its vary easy to finde a hotel and you have a lot of space to park your car. Its near good market stores, and awesome tavernas. Its 6-7 minutes walk from the old town, and its calm during the nights so you can have a good rest. Staff is really nice.

Well laid out and generous room sizes with excellent facilities . Reception staff were extremely polite and very helpful . Around a 10 minute walk to Nafplio Old town .
