However one of our rooms was not cleaned before we had gotten there. The sheets were all messy there was toilet paper in the bins. It was evident they had not cleaned the room for our arrival

The shower and bathroom. The bathroom seat cover was oddly set that was seating on your back when you seat. The shower curtain was inadequate, water went every where. There was no shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The towels were old and small .

We never met the owners or anyone for that matter. Check in was just a key in the door… You also had to put a “please clean my room sign” on the door when you wanted your room cleaned (we didn’t need it cleaned, we just wanted the trash taken) but we couldn’t find the sign anywhere in the room. We ended up writing to them on booking.com and then they were very quick to clean the room.

It was clean and spacious for us. I also liked that it here was a kettle, coffee machine and other small appliances. the AC also worked perfectly and had a nice terrace to sit. They also fixed the shower when it broke.

the mattress on the beds in our room would have to be the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on, you can feel the springs all throughout it.

As with many locations in milos, here hosts have gone for disintermediation giving the check in/out job to a third party agent and there is no hospitality whatsoever. No breakfast, little cleaning, no island suggestions, no garden upkeep... you get your keys they get your money, you leave your keys on the door when you leave. The rooms were not great, the bathroom was really below standard, our terrace was so hot and the property counted ten cats constantly asking for food as the hosts encouraged guests (through a plastified notice left in our room) to feed them on the premises- though not using property dishes. A cat had just had three kittens when we arrived and one got very sick. Guests got very concerned and it was painful to see but there was no host appearance despite us informing the agency. In the end, no guest wanted to come into the garden. This property felt very uncared for and it made for a bad stay.

it’s a two bedroom apartment, but only one aircon unit, meaning you’d need to keep the door between the bedrooms open to get both rooms cool. the breakfast that is provided for guests (milk, bread, cereal, ham, cheese, coffee…) was fine for 3 or 4 nights, but some items could’ve been replenished during the midweek room clean.

The area was quiet and had parking, not too far from Adamas port, restaurants and shops. very handy for Zygos Taverna which you’ll need to book a couple of days in advance by the way

We booked 2 studio rooms at Aphrodite Diamond. Our studio, room 10, did not come as advertised (did not match pictures) and was significantly smaller with fewer amenities than the other studio booked, room 5. Size wise it was half the size as the other room. Room 10 also did not have the same counter or closet space as room 10. Moreover the AC unit in room 10 was not working properly which made the unit sweltering hot. When we asked the manager for help with the AC we were told “they would tell the owner” but nothing was done. In addition they refused to acknowledge that the smaller room with fewer amenities was of unequal value to all other rooms. We left after 1 night because we never heard back from the manager. Even when we told them we would be checking out early we got no response. In general this place is not worth the price tag as even the bigger, “nicer” rooms were lackluster. Hotel location was also not ideal if you dont rent a vehicle. The area was very rundown.

Overall, it was a very bad experience, especially for the price. Service was almost entirely absent, and the owner appeared not to be interested in responding to requests. The bed had a worn and thin mattress, and the bathroom facilities were dilapidated, with leaks and broken shower racks. I have travelled to Greece yearly for the past 35 years. This has been by far the worst value for money experience so far in this beautiful country.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The bathroom literally had the toilet in the shower (the curtain actually covered the toilet) so water got all over the place. The holder for the shower head was broken. When we arrived, there was a dirty towel from a prior guest that wasn't removed until the second day. The window had to remain open or else the entire room smelled of sewer gas/rotten eggs. There were people outside partying and shouting until 2:00 am one of the nights we stayed here.

We spent couple days in that apartment. I liked the location. Clean comfy apartment, all equipped kitchen. The stuff is welcoming, super communicative, responsive. We arrived at the port very late, so they organized the transfer to the apartment. So grateful to them for this!
