The shower was the width of the bathroom but quite narrow, which means you end up stuck to the shower curtain or hitting your hip on the tap. We got used to it but it could be a problem for a bigger person.

This was a great, quiet place to stay. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. Arranging port transfers for us, giving us a map of the island and suggestions of where to visit, and even printing out a bus timetable for us. The room was simple but spotlessly clean (and was cleaned every day), and we had a sea view from our upstairs room and small balcony. We liked having self-catering facilities so we could have breakfast and make an occasional, simple meal. There was everything we needed to do this, including a kettle, fridge, utensils, a tea towel, sponge, and washing up liquid. We were very pleasantly surprised to be given little packets of toast, butter, jam, coffee etc everyday, which was wonderful. They really seem to pay attention to the little things. It was about a 5 minute walk to the main beach and small hub of Pollonia, but there was a lovely bay, where you could access the sea even closer. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing really- the property is a street or two from the sea so the balcony view is a bit interrupted but that is nit picking.

Exceptionally clean with nice quality fittings- our room was serviced every day with new bedding and towels which smelled delightful- the location is excellent- just a short stroll to the beach and village with its restaurants and bars. There is a restaurant just outside the building for people who prefer to stay really local.

Firstly this is a family run business and you can tell. There is attention to detail and care taken throughout the building. The two daughters Sophia and Katarina are friendly, informative and welcoming. The newly renovated shower and bathroom is top notch and really makes a difference to this price range of accommodation. The room is very appealing with a balcony looking out to Kimilos and the tip of Pollonia.. Which means sunset drinks by the water are 2 mins away on foot. The location is away from the centre of a the very small town called Pollonia which means it is closer to the rocks and a really interesting coast line. We had the top floor so maximised the neighbourly peace. The restaurant across the street Rekamelo is superb for dinner and the owner Vanessa is amazing. Everything was really great hence why we gave this 9, all except for the double bed. It was hard and you can feel the springs. We cannot comment on any other bed than ours. When we asked for a topper, katarina obliged immediately. Sadly there was not enough of toppers for the 3rd traveller in our triple room which meant our friend had a poor night's sleep, after travelling from Germany overland and by ferry for 3 days to meet us in Milos. We have been spoilt in Sifnos and Folegandros with comfy beds and pillows. This might be the next investment for the lovely Stavros team? Nb. Read the small print re toiletries. We had received daily replenishment of hair and body gel throughout the islands so assumed (wrongly) we we get the same top up. Luckily was had some spare. When mentioned to the host, they did say they would provide more if we had asked them. Overall the price is great value for money but you may want to BYO shower stuff!

Nothing - it was completely perfect

The staff - the women that run Captain Stavros were incredibly warm and friendly and always greeted us with a smiling face. The room - it felt authentically Greek whilst also being very clean and modern. The location - just a 5 minute walk to the beach / pollonia central. We did a lot of research into the best place to stay on Milos, and after exploring the island we’re so glad we picked Pollonia.

Everything, it was perfect! It was a great size room with lovely decor, a balcony and a clothes hanger, great bathroom, aircon, and extra amenities like some snacks and toiletries. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The location was quiet but only a 5 min walk to Pollonia and the bus. The room was serviced daily. Couldn’t fault Captain Stavros, we had the best time and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Location is absolutely perfect, pollonia is beautiful and the apartments are a short walk to the water. The mother and daughter who run the place are the kindest souls and made us feel at home over our stay. Would definitely come back and stay here. Miss everything about this place. Highly recommend.

Lovely family runs the accommodation. It's not very far from the center but on a hot day the walk can seem tedious. But we didn't mind since we rented a car and they provided free parking. They even did our laundry for free. And I appreciated decent coffee from the coffee machine.

The location is at the east side of the island so you always need minimum 15-20 to reach the south or the west side by car. But the roads are very good so it is easy.

Very comfortable and new accomodation. Spotless clean. Located on first floor with balcony and terrasse in a quiet area of Pollonia. The owners, Eleni and Sofia, are extremely kind, very responsive and accommodating. We could benefit from a late checkout. Every day we got replenishments of tea/Nescafé/honey/marmalade/crackers for breakfast. We took part in the boat tour around the island they advertise, by a family member, and we spent a fantastic day (50 EUR per person). Thanks for everything!
