It's pre-season, so everything's being prepped, and not everything's open. But it's such a beautiful location. There was no kettle for that wake up coffee hit.

The bed was super comfy. And there are some spectacular hikes nearby.. not for the faint-hearted, though. Beautiful location. Marina and Despina were terrific hosts and made us feel welcome.

Really difficult to access by car because of the narrow road and the fact new car are more and more wide, which is a big challenge generally speaking in greek island (the hotel can not anything about this)

Driveway onto the street is tight and on a hill so this makes turning left a bit of a magic act. Better to turn right and go up the street to find a safe place to make a turn and drive back past the hotel.

Staff we encountered were all very pleasant and accommodating - Marina in reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was not large but adequate we had a small balcony to sit in the evening. Buffet style breakfast was included in the price and there was a really good selection to choose from. We were able to park the car on the premises and walk into town or the beach

The rooms adjacent to the pool still have the older mattress. They are hard compared to the room on the upper floors. But being so close to the pool area made up for it.

Just a few flaws Wi-Fi was so so the AC wouldn’t work at times and there was no hot water at points.

You had to slam the room door to lock it from the outside (an issue when other guests came home late at night). The cats were also a bit annoying at breakfast, but this is a problem all over the island so not particular to this property.

Maybe the room cleaning deserves more attention.

The hotel is gorgeous. You feel like staying there forever. Marina, Dimitris, Antígona, the cleaning Lady, the Ladies who serve breakfast,well, everyone is helpful and friendly. It's quiet, the views are stunning. Perfect breakfast. By the way, food in Ikaria is unique.I super recommend. Don't forget me! I'll be back!!!!

Nothing. Perhaps I would have like the possibility of making coffee or tea in the room. But still, you could always get whatever you wznted at the bar.

The views, sunset, the location, the wonderful bed, all the facilities, the lovely terrace around the pool, the very tasty breakfast. But mostly the superfriendly and helpful staff. I thank Marina and the other girls from the check-in counter for being so welcoming and helping me with transport and stuff. The made my stay one to remember.

The reception staff didn’t give much information. They didn’t tell us where the supermarket was or where to go to eat or to the beach etc. They also didn’t say the hotel’s name is slightly different on booking.com and that it’s a huge 1hour 40 minute drive to the hotel from the airport, along a windy mountainous road. I recommend if not confident driving and if you’re happy to just spend time near the hotel - which we found really nice - then just get a taxi, even though it’ll cost around 70€ from the airport.

great location . walking distance to some good simple Greek restaurants and nice beaches. Also a supermarket which is down the hill on the harbour (you can almost see if from the hotel swimming pool). The pool was nice and there was also a nice path down to the rocks by the ocean. Nice place to watch the sunset. Breakfast was good. Cleaner was very, very nice and always said hi!

There is really nothing to dislike about this hotel, except if you are an anxious driver the private road down to the hotel is quite steep.

I first visited Cavos Bay in the late 90's and fell in love with the rooms with balconies that allow you to watch the sunset over the azure Aegean. This year I've returned to the hotel twice. Once with my teenage daughter and the other with my elderly sick parents. All my family love this hotel. The traditional Greek breakfasts are plentiful and delicious with homemade cakes, local jams, honey and pastries. The location is amazing, close to beaches, restaurants and hiking paths. The beds are more comfortable than ones I have in my own home> Even my almost-80 year old father found beds to be comfy for his aching bones. The staff are lovely, caring, always smiling. They are eager to please with anything from bookings to room arrangements in any way they can. The small pool is warm and has a sea-water fed waterfall. The hotel really is picturesque

The weather! That was not the fault of the staff. The room was not as soundproof as we would like as our sleep was disturbed with partying that went on for hours in the middle of the night.There was no one at the front desk to intercede .
