We had a lovely week's stay and were looked after by our host George. The apartments are close to the beach and are various spacious inside and are spotlessly clean. George was very helpful and knowledgeable of the ared and gave us some great tips in terms of places to go. If we come back to Crete, we would definitely come back and stay at Despina Studios again. Highly recommend,

Our only concern was, that our apartment was noisy at nights, because it had view to the main street.

First of all I would like to thank you the kind hospitality and the great housekeeping to the owner. We rented a 3 bed apartment at the end of June 2023. Our apartment had city view and it located on the first floor. It had a fantastic huge balcony and it was very well-equipped. Microwave, iron, hairdryer, toaster, kettle, good WIFI, air conditioner and safe box were available in the apartment free of charge. Daily cleaning also was ensured, the apartment was spotless clean. The apartment house locates on the main road of Agia Marina, parking facilities were available. The sea is very close, around 200 meters, the bus stop is in front of the apartment house. The owner was very helpful, he gave us some tourist information as well. Please note, there are another apartment with the same name not far (within some kilometres) from this apartment; we arrived late evening and found the wrong one firstly.

The location of Despina Studios is great, very close to the beach. There is a nice swimming pool with pool bar. We got a room with this huge terrace that we spent a lot of time there. And the owner and all the staff was very very nice, they helped us with everything. Everything is right there - restauarants, grocery stores, etc.

Very good place to stay near Chania, right at the beach, good restaurants in the area. Quiet and relaxed compared to the busy city of Chania, swimming pool and restaurant for breakfast available at the neighbours - you have everything you need. George the owner is very friendly and more than helpful with advice and to help getting around and more. The service was top! Thank you for the beautiful stay!

The studio is very clean, comfortable & well organised. The host had left a lovely selection of items to welcome me. It is conveniently located, very close to a bus stop on the Chania-Kastelli route, but at the back of the building so you don't notice the noise from the road. It is also very close to the sea, and you have a balcony with a bit of direct sea view so it's nice to start the day with coffee out there. Noise does bounce around the flat so if you have noisy neighbours you'll need ear plugs.

We have not yet been so surprised by the cleanliness of the room! And I have seen quite a few of them both in lower and higher standards. We literally looked and admired how nice and pleasant it was. And the staff is very nice! The beautiful beach is right next to the hotel and at the same time, it is very close to Chania - a very cute town in Crete. You are quite close to the biggest attractions of the island which are mostly on the west side of the island. I recommend it a lot!

Nothing, everything was perfect

Wow... these self catering rooms are simply superb. Everything you need, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, hairdryer, proper shower cubicle with sliding doors, hot water, free aircon, flat screen TV, Washing up liquid, clothe, t-towel, beach towels, mozzie machine, salt and pepper, and all the usual bits you expect. But on arrival to have bread, water, fruit and orange juice in the fridge was just a class touch. George is amazing, the cleaning of the rooms and the small block is exceptional, totally spotless throughout for our whole stay. We had a 2 bed studio looking out the back towards the sea and the shared pool, both of which were fine, and the pool has a bar and restaurant that services the hotel that the pool belongs to. Just cant rate this accomodation highly enough, well located to walk into either Agia Marina or Platanias, good restaurants nearby, bakery almost next door, and supermarket as well. George is a great host and knows everyone in the area so a fantastic knowledge and is just so helpful. And on leaving even got a bottle of home produced olive oil, which is very nice I must say. Highly recommended and will definitely be back

Despina Studios is a very clean appartment house. George, the owner is really nice, friendly and helpful, he takes great care of cleanliness. Wi-fi is very good, the appartment house is really close to the beach and even there is possibility to use the pool of appartment house next door. Overall we spent a very pleasant week at this accommodation.

Only problem i could say, is a bit outdated furniture (the squeaky bed to be percise).

Everything else. The host George is incredibaly helpful and friendly. The room, unbelievably clean, and room cleaning every day: beds made, everything wiped spotless clean. Outstanding. Nice and neat room, good view, AC to help us centeral europeans with this 35°+ heat, it was 25° overnight, thank God and George for the AC.

The man in charge is really informative - gave us all the info in a very short time. The rooms are really clean and you can find everything you need in them (and probably much more). Parking right next to it, just a few steps from the beach and in the centre of happening in Agia Marina. Wasn't expecting too much, but boy did we get a fine experience.

Amazing stay. Perfect location right next to bus stop to/from Chania and 1 minute walk to the beach. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Comfortable beds, big bathroom, fully functional kitchenette with plenty of cooking utensils. A nice touch was the bread, fruit, juice and water in the room for us on arrival. Nice and quiet and good Aircon. The neighbours pool which you can use is great and right next to the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds. George the hotel director was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is that rare moment when you liked everything - and it's amazing!

It was an amazing vacation and our honeymoon! First, I want to thank the owner of the hotel George for his kindness and hospitality. Due to disruptions in our arrival, we arrived at the hotel only at 00.30 and Gheorghe personally met us. After learning that we were on a honeymoon, he made us a pleasant surprise in our room - champagne and chocolate. The next day, we were prompted by all the available excursions in Crete as well as Top restaurants and their locations. Every day the room was cleaned perfectly. The room had all kinds of dishes, including all the necessary household appliances, even though we did not use them. Walking distance to the Sea - about 100m. We also had the opportunity to use the pool of a nearby hotel that was next to on the first line with the sea. On the last day, due to the Covid 19 tests, we were not much delayed with the departure time, but George was very loyal and took it with understanding. If you want to relax your heart and soul, come to Crete. And check into a wonderful hotel like this one! Best Regards, Yuri

Although the kitchen was very good equipped for breakfast, it had toaster, coffee filter, manual juice maker, the pan in kitchen was kind of small. A bowl for salad would it be nice.

I like the view, the sea that was in front had a few fishes so I did some snorkelling. I liked that I found water and juice in the fridge when I arrived. The room was sparkling clean, and it was cleaned daily if you want.

We stayed for 7 nights and we have everything we could possibly need: there's hot water (always), air conditioning, a huge balcony with a sea view, a safe, the wi-fi is good (reaching over 2 Mb speed), and everything in the kitchen is working properly. More importantly, the rooms are cleaned daily! The hotel is very close to the beach, and there are amazing restaurants and bars all around (Akti is the best - good food, huge portions, but that's another story). The host, George, is extremely kind and helpful, and that is always a huge plus. The photos do not do justice to this place, the room looks way better! We would definitely book the room again and kindly recommend it.
