We did get the Suite and had a balcony and excellent views. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was large and spotless with marble walls and floor. Breakfast was excellent and the cheese and spinach pie was brilliant. Excellent choice of restaurants nearby and cocktails in the town square were great.

They present the rooms as "mountain view" or "panoramic view", in fact, you can only see the street. We complained about the misleading information, and therefore they upgraded us and our friends to a suite with a view.

We were upgraded to a large suite. The breakfast is great. The hotel has private spacious parking. Ana of the reception, who also run the breakfast was great, very efficient, considerate, helpful, and polite.

The hotel is in a great location in the village - our rooms had fantastic views of the mountain and of Volos and beyond. Staff were really helpful, and breakfast was good. The beds were very comfortable - all in all, we enjoyed a lovely few days there, I would definitely return.

I was upgraded to the luxury suite that had a balcony with panoramic view. The hotel is very elegant and in the best location in Portaria. The staff was very friendly. Altogether it was a great experience.

Breakfast area small with limited tables but I guess to be expected. Other than that a pleasant stay.

The room had a view of Volos city. It snowed so it was wonderful to look at the window. The heating was excellent. Staff very helpful and polite made the whole trip better as they suggested restaurants and places to visit.

Everything was great. The room ,the view, the fireplace with unlimited wood. If they could just give a little boost in their breakfast it would be a total 10 for me. It was nice and tasty. But I need just a little bit more for my always get to hotel in this location!!!!

Basic breakfast (although had all basics we needed and all was fresh and tasty). Aggressive cats are next to you in breakfast ... Got basic info from the receptionists. Had to figure most of things myself. One exception was the nice lady in the mornings which also handles breakfast.

Perfect location in Portaria. Located right in the center of the Lively village . We had 2 rooms- brand new family suite with great balcony to the view. Great shower and soaps. The classic room was standard but good value for money We also got great homemade jam in checkout which was a great personal touch. Portaria is excellent location to explore center and west side. Also great accesses in and out of pelion. However long trips to the east side. So if u consider few days in the east, i would recommend staying there for the relevant nights.

Not related to the hotel, but waze is a mess. Don’t follow it but the main( MAIN) road. Stay sticked with the main road till the village and the hotel.

A must stay in the region. Fantastic view over the city of Volos, we had a room with large balcony to the valley. Big bed, very clean. Excellent reinterpretation of the traditional style. Nice ppl and good breakfast. I think is the best option in the area.
