Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI personally don’t like the idea of main key used to switch entirely electricity in the room, a little bit inconvenient to bring devices you need to recharge to the reception area while you’re away.
Perfect location for overnight stay to catch the ferry on the next day. Very convenient located to the port gate to Milos. Breakfast included. Good value for your money. Requested iron has been delivered in a few minutes to the room along with the ironing board. Excellent service overall.

United States of AmericaWe loved the Galini Hotel! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The room was great and beds were very comfortable! It's in a great location. It was 100 feet from the beach and a 7 minute walk to the port. It's also close to a lot of very good restaurants. I would recommend the Galini Hotel 100%.

AustraliaCould not fault our experience
The location is perfect being walking distance from the town centre with beach views. The hosts were extremely hospitable, happy to help with all our questions and store our luggage before leaving the island. The breakfast was delicious with huge range of options and our room received daily cleaning.

This property was phenomenal!!! Room was big and downstairs. No view but very clean and had a side patio with clothesline. George and his brother were so kind and hospitable. The breakfast every morning was delicious. We loved their homemade marmalades. The property was within 10 min walking to the port and super convenient to Old Town for restaurants and bus station. Naxos is great in that you can drink their spring water and this hotel had a spout across the street that was convenient as we were tired of buying water. They recommended car (vs atv) and were 100% right as it rained when we drove. the car was cheap (30 euro/day) and they came to the hotel to pickup/drop off.

United States of AmericaThe room was a bit small
The young woman at reception when we arrived was very welcoming and helpful. Appreciated the detail of what to do and see in the area as pointed out on the map provided by the hotel. The hotel arranged a rental car for us to use for the two days we were there. The location was great, just a short walk from restaurants and shops, and right next to the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept the best there of the four places we stayed while in Greece.

United KingdomThe only thing about the view was the car park kind of spoilt it a little bit, but then you have the convenience of parking, which you don't get with a lot of hotels, and it's not that bad. The hotel doesn't have it's own beach chairs, so it would be nice if they had a deal with someone to share. It would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room - although they will make you one if you ask at reception.
The staff were welcoming and informative when we arrived, and were friendly and helpful for the entirety of our stay. The breakfast is renowned on the Island and for good reason; there was so much choice and was really tasty. They also catered well for my niece, who needs Gluton Free. It is at a reasonable hour of 8-10.30. The cleaners were friendly and thorough. We had adjoining rooms on the ground floor with a seaview, and it was like having our own suite. The location is perfect; literally 1 minute's walk to the beach, which has plenty of restaurants, and less than 5 minutes to the town, with plenty of shops and restaurants/bars. However, it is far enough away to not suffer any noise - not that this is exactly party town, so noise isn't really an issue.

United States of AmericaThe room was a little small for our taste and the bed was too firm/not really comfortable. While also a modern/romantic type room, we feel that separate shower area to the rest of the room would be beneficial.
Breakfast was great - lots of options. We were most impressed by the owner of the hotel, who sat us down and showed us the best places to go and things to see on the island. We were given complimentary wine during our stay as well. The view from our room was a picturesque scene of the sea and beaches.
