Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was exceptional during our stay at the villa! The amenities of the house were more than one could've imagined. Many thanks to the owner, Giannis, for the welcoming gift plus the tips and the recommendations he gave us regarding the attractions, beaches, restaurants, etc. PS: Agios Matthaios is a beautiful village to visit and there are a lot of places to explore nearby so don't hesitate to visit the southern side of the island! We would love to stay again at Giorgos & Maria Villas, and we totally recommend this place. Elli & Theo

There are three stairs in total when you rent this apartment, so depending on the age of the children and luggage you take, it may be a bit tricky (for us it was ok and we built a kids protection with chairs)
Large terrace with beautiful mountain view, the apartment was well equipped, especially for families with baby chair and cot provided and even a blender to prepare baby food, great host, always available and very helpful with local advice on restaurants, perfect location on the island with everything you need within walking distance and great beaches nearby

Honestly, everything was amazing!
I definitely recommend the apartment, owners Yiannis & Tasos are so friendly. They recommended really great restaurants and the villa was amazing, so stylish and comfortable. There is a special garage for parking.. And all equipment you may need!

lots of stairs! I’m 6”1 and my partner is 5”9 so we found the low ceilings upstairs a challenge.
Very clean, had all the necessary facilities that you might need. owners were very eager to please and make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Villa: Modern and great looking villa consists of two apartments - the Giorgos apartment and the Maria apartment. On the ground floor is a garage for two cars. Everything is very new and fresh. The apartments have everything you need - household appliances, comfortable furniture. Your stay will be absolutely comfortable. The price/quality ratio - excellent. Location: For exploring the southern part of Corfu - ideal, but if the goal is the north and northwest of the island (Paleokastritsa and nearby) villa is quite remote. The drive to Kerkera will take about half an hour, distance is only 20 km. Therefore, only by car / bike. Yannis, the owner of the villa, is very friendly and helpful and will be happy to help you with any question:)

Only one little thing - we prefer king size double bed. This one was little bit smaller but still comfortable.
Absolutely clean. Everything look like new. No dust, no mess. Towels for sunbath on the beach was clean and ready for use. More than 100% satisfied with owners care ( Yiannis and Tasos - thank you for all you did for us) .

We reeeally loved the apartement. It is super stylish and comfy. There is enough stuff in the kitchen to cook on your own or make snacks and so on. In addition to that we liked the games that were provided and also the very friendly welcome and welcome gift - the bread, olive oil and vegetables saved our starving lifes after the travel. We also loved the location and how it wasnt so touristy like other places on corfu. The distance to the beaches was also perfect for us.

Everything was OK.
Excellent accommodation in a quiet environment. An opportunity to get to know the lifestyle of local people in Corfu. The village where the accommodation is located has a traditional atmosphere. Prices in local restaurants are much better than in tourist centers. I recommend renting a car and visiting different beaches according to your preferences. Really exceptional care from the owner of the apartment.

We enjoyed very much our holidays in the Giorgio & Maria villa. The villa is very cozy, modern, spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location is also very good, in a calm area, close to the north part of the island as well as the south, which allowed us to travel and see the entire island during our stay. The host, Yiannis is very welcoming, kind and listens to every need of his clients. He even offered us olive oil with bread and tomatoes upon our arrival, which was very nice to receive after a long trip. We were also allowed to enter the villa earlier than the check in hour which helped us a lot after several hours of travelling. We highly recommend the villa.

Very modern and clean, fully equipped appartement with a wonderful view to mountains, village and the sea. Very helpful owner. Nice shared garden with the second appartement in the house. As we were hiking the Corfu Trail we only stayed for 2 nights, but we enjoyed very much.

Great appartment in a quiet area and a nice view from the balcony. The appartment is equipped with everthing you need and we received coffee and olive oil as a welcome present. You have two bathrooms and a garage for a rental car. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was always welcoming.
