Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Irelandthe cost of drinks and food was overpriced and the nearest town was over 5km away and you had to walk up the cliff road.

United KingdomNothing really. Yes accomodation was basic and could do with a bit more investment but this would most likely push up prices.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. It was very basic but very clean and spacious. I think it was a fair price. You get what you pay for. The gentleman (Danny) on Reception was great. Very friendly and sorted out any niggles we had. He allowed us a late check out too, as no one booked in immediately after us. This meant a lot to us as many airport's were experiencing delays due to the traffic control problems in the UK. Therefore, we got to spend our last day in comfort before heading to the airport to wait for the departure of our late flight. The cleaning lady was wonderful. Cleaned room every 2 days and told us to just ask if we needed anything more. The restaurant staff were really friendly and we enjoyed a few meals there. We didn't rent a car but used the bus to Corfu Town quite a bit. Lovely scenery on the way and meant we didn't need to worry about what we were drinking. Also got to Aqualand by bus. Kids loved it. If you go to the town a MUST visit is the Cake Boutique! Note, the bus is cash only 2.20€ each way. Glifada beach and sea were stunning. We had a whole week of calm waters and spent hours snorkeling. It was amazing! We did a few rides on inflatables just along the beach. Activity prices better than other resorts in Europe. The the final week was a bit more stormy but we enjoyed jumping the waves. The area is quite small and not really set up for self catering as shops were limited in what they sold. If you want bigger shops to self cater more you would need a car. But we were on holiday so who wants to cook? I have to say I would have struggled to cook anything substantial on just 2 hobs. Noting there is no oven or microwave. Did buy fresh bread, sliced meats, cheese and salad to make up some sandwiches on occasion for lunch. All in all a great holiday. Staff were by far friendliest in the area. Staff here get 10/10. Accommodation basic but price reflects this.

United KingdomShowerhead was completely broken and never got fixed during our stay or offered another room Building is in a mediocre conditions clearly no signs of intention to invest in it but heavily relying on the location Pictures on the website are misleading as it shows the apartment buildings and their gardens next door as their own Swimming pool was dirty during our stay and only kids would get in to play

United KingdomRight next to beach bar Pazuzu which played loud music through the day, so loud that you could feel your chest vibrate at times but most evenings it was quiet by 8/9pm. We used ear plugs as our neighbours were sitting on balcony talking until very late. The shower was very intermittent with water pressure and sometimes no hot water. A basic but comfortable apartment.
Good location right on the beach. Air con in the room. Clean and cleaned through the week 5 days out of 7 with fresh towels provided. Comfortable apartment for a reasonable price. Great food at the taverna with friendly hard working staff.

ItalySome facilities within the room were a bit outdated but worked fine. Rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear most of what your neighbors are talking about. Not a big problem unless they are very loud! Not sure any rooms have step-free access (those on the first floor didn't)
The balcony had a great view, beds were comfortable, aircon worked well, great value for money. Literally in front of the beach, location couldn't be better

United KingdomThe Sat evening there was a wedding celebration at the outdoor nightclub next door which went on to 2.30 am. On the Sun there was another event there which went on from about 12 noon until 1800 hrs. with the thumping of the music quite audible from our room.
We had a room facing inland but with a balcony. In the temperatures we had (34 degree C), this was great as it afforded us shade and a pleasant temperature.

United KingdomThe adjoining property along the beach was a disco/nightclub which did prove a bit noisey and went on until 2.30 am .
Lovely sunset from the outside restaurant. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Weather was very hot at the time we were there and the sand was almost too hot to walk on. Good small supermarket on site.

SwitzerlandThere are about just 5 restaurants in the near and no bazaar or walking street. It is better if you rent a car already in advance. We were staying 10 days and we got every day the same for breakfast, which was a little bit boring, but you had a great flexibility with the time.
With the local green bus company, it is easy and cheap to get to Kyrkera city and to the Aqualand, but to visit other places you need the rent a car or quad. The staff is really kind and helpful. The apartment is really closed to the beach. (not even 1 minutes to walk)

BulgariaThe apartment is a bit dilapidated. I has a tiny living room with kitchenette. The kitchenette is not well equipped, e.g. the few items of cutlery and crockery are randomly collected and old. Bathrooms need some renewing, especially the showers.
Excellent location: beachfront. It is also close to a little shop which was helpful. The bedrooms are large and spacy. The air-conditioning is good.
