Lovely place to stay. Easy walk into Oia, but away from the crowds. Finikia is really lovely with some great restaurants. Bus stop to Fira is at the top of the village. The cave houses are fun and really well set out.

Actually the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that in the description of the house it was said that there would be bathrobes, but there wasn´t. Also I will just mention that the schampoo and shower cream could be refilled when cleaning the house every day.

We really liked the house, so much that we were a little sad to leave after a week. The patio area that was available for all guests was much appreciated. Sofia was a very good host. Also there was a adorable cat that came to our house every day, we even named the cat Ouzo. He´s forever in our hearts.

The location! Great restaurants nearby and a short walk to Oía! Also, there’s free parking just a short walk away. And the view of the sunrise from behind the top of the hill is amazing!

This property has so much character and we loved the area of Finikia - a close walk to Oia but so much quieter and no vehicles! We loved the decor and the unique character of the accommodation, our patio, the peaceful alleyways of the village and the excellent restaurants nearby. The fresh orange juice and home made biscuits on arrival were an unexpected treat! Our host was always on hand to assist with any queries. The bed is very small, to suit the cosy room. This was no problem for us but perhaps a consideration for taller people.

Loved the ambience and attention to detail of these beautiful authentic cave rooms. Lived up to our expectations of an authentic Santorini experience. Loved the terrace which was private and welcoming. The village of Finikia is away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of Oia, coastal trail and buses. There is a little supermarket which is handy. Taverns close by looked inviting, but we didn't get a chance to try them. Sophia was available on site. You need to take your luggage from Finikia car park, but this wasn't a problem for us.Very beautiful and quiet, well serviced accommodation.

Very clean and traditional with everything we needed. Just a 10-15 minute walk from Oia so it was ideal to be out of the busy times. 3 Extremely good restaurants on the doorstep do not miss these especially Lefkes.

There is not much around this property unless you walk all the way up to Oia centre (10-15 mins walk). There are two restaurants very highly priced and one small supermarket. We stayed for two nights and ended up eating from the same place both days (good food but expensive!) Not recommended to book the hotel offered commute from port/airport to the place. The guy who came for our pickup was pathetic. We requested for the drop to the nearest public hospital as I had to get some dressing done due to a small accident i met while in Greece. That guy was the worst we ever met in our lives and felt like had a gun to his head and been forced to pick us up. Dropped us to the hospital which was 10 mins away , charged 40€ and left saying figure out your commute to the hotel by yourself and waiting charges are 70€ and I am leaving. Pathetic guy and I am writing it here since it reflects the property too and didnt even get a response from this property when we asked for more details of that driver to further escalate.

Lovely boutique well thought off rooms and nice gesture from the owner to have these little things in the kitchen like juice, some biscuits on arrival. Very comfortable room and decent view. Its technically not in Oia but very walkable distance from Oia.

It can be a little bit of a workout to get to the property in the heat of the day with heavy suitcases. It was worth it though to be somewhere so unique!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Finikia is a great location for being close to Oia but away from all the crowds and commercialism. It felt more unique and was an unforgettable experience for our children to get to live in a cave home. There is a great restaurant a few steps down the property (Krinaki) that is reasonably priced compared to many in Oia. This stay will hold a special place in our hearts!

I came with wife, 20 year old daughter & I am 75: from pictures on B.Com it seemed on one levelbut the double bed was up a steep, uneven almost spiral staircase - I could not sleep with wife (up in night, toilet downstairs? Would have killed myself?) but downstairs in single bed; daughter had to be with wife in double… Luggage had to be dragged up 10 different stairs, in the night, on arrival…

The reception by the lady owner; unusual decor; elevation: one escaped the heat.

Location was further from Oia than we expected/realised - a good 15-20 minute walk. Fine for us with backpack only, but would not recommend walking from the bus stop with large luggage.

There was no aircon in bedroom as it was 35 degrees .. was very hot ! The aircon in the living area was also not working well . Apart from aircon everything was perfect !

The parkinglot at Finikia is terrible. Buses and minivans picking up or dropping guests on regular basis. Other parked cars blocking other parked cars. Instead I parked my car down the street which has plenty of space. I the urge the local community of Finikia to plead to let tourists park in other parking spaces if there physically able to and/or in healthy condition. The fridge is a bit noisy for people that need to sleep on the sofa.

The location is perfect to reach Oia by foot or car and quickly reach other destinations in the north of the Island. Finikia itself is a relatively small town but beautiful town. I had the loft suite for myself which was big and cool enough during the warmer period of the day. Plenty of place at your doorstep to sit in the sun or shade. The cleaning service was thorough and always replenished the juice in the fridge. The bathroom and bedroom were tidy when I arrived and during my stay. Plenty of towels, soap etc. Warm water almost instantly. The restaurants are very close and have great dishes to try for yourself.

I was at the end of a two week trip and so had a lot of luggage, it was hard to pull down all the stairs and winding streets of the community in the heat from the bus. It would have been good to know before hand that it’s not the best way to get to the property.

The place was beautifully furnished/ decorated and in an idyllic location that was off the beaten track but still in walking distance of Oia cliffs. The bed was very comfortable and the pressure of the shower was best I’ve had in Greece! I also thought it was a nice touch that they leave you everything in the fridge to make the breakfast yourself.
