Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeUnable to spend more days there.
1. Location - just steps from port and surrounded by cafes. Was shown to sister Hotel Minoa which was closer to these convenience and on the level but still chose Landeris despite stairs as it is quieter and boasts big rooftop verandah with clear view of harbour. 2. Staff - most friendly n helpful and just simply nice. Realised belatedly was charged the same even though I changed from a double room to an apartment. Appreciate the kind n warm welcome of owner. 3. Good water pressure n well appointed space.

This is my second time in Amorgos. The island is heavenly and owners of the hotel Ionna and Stamatis are the best hosts ever. Their hospitality, kindness and love for Amorgos make the difference. My room was big enough, very clean, good a/c, good view and very quiet which is so important to me cause I have hard time sleeping sometimes. Over all Landeris is the home away from home for me.

United States of AmericaAmazing location! 20-45 second walk to everything necessary- coffee, food, desserts, mini-market, shopping (clothes, jewelry, souvenirs), but still quiet at night to sleep well. Ioanna was extremely helpful and gave us amazing suggestions, and so incredibly kind and sweet. Cozy room, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, mini balcony where I had my coffee in the morning. Thank you!

United KingdomExcellent location, right in the port - lovely rooms with all amenities. Joanna (the host) was exceptional- she spent time recommending things for us to do on the island and nothing was too much trouble for her. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you

ItalyThe kindness of the owners who manage either the Landeris Hotel as well as the Minoa Hotel which is nearby and of a better quality. Since they had a free room in the Minoa, after the first day, they proposed me to move from Landeris to Minoa. Therefore this evaluation concerns the Minoa Hotel. The overall rating is excellent in particular for the focus on the ciustomer satisfaction of the ownership.

United KingdomNot having the situation explained to us until we saw someone from the apartments in the morning. No kettle
The room we were given wasn't actually in the Landeris apts so I can't comment on that hotel. We didn't realise the change as someone met us and guided us to the room which was in the Minoa. It didn't matter too much as it was a nice room with a terrace looking onto the back garden and we only needed one night but it would've been better if they'd told us. Unfortunately it didn't have the roof terrace we'd been looking forward to. Great location (as is the Landeris), clean and quiet.

IrelandThe room was very basic. There was a very disconcerting rumbling noise, which I initially thought must be a ferry docking, but turned out to be caused by the fridge. Better left unplugged overnight. Like other guests, I was disconcerted by the fact that the main reception is in a neighbouring hotel. We were lucky that staff were present in Landeris when we arrived.
The location was superb, being right in the centre of town and very close to the embarkation point for ferries. Most importantly however, it was at the same time quiet, being located off a peaceful laneway. The room itself was very clean. We didn't see much of staff, but were accompanied to the main reception by a very charming lady the morning of check out. The room was not without fault, but the price was probably reasonable for what we got. Finally, we discovered a very pleasant little beach about 200 or 300m beyond the ferry pier.

Switzerland- The room and the bathroom looked tired, the refrigerator was not working properly: the room was pricey, also compared to all the other locations we stayed at during this trip.
- Johanna’s (the owner) kindness and friendliness - The location, in a side road next to the harbour, very convenient and not noisy - The breakfast (at 5 EUR per person extra cost) - The comfortable mattress

SwitzerlandNot really a hotel. Reception is somewhere else, also the place for breakfast (not included). We were first shown a room in the basement, then one by a passage. It was only the fifth room we saw that was somehow acceptable. WiFi is bad. The ceiling lamp didn't work. The shower is tiny. The mattress was hard.
Central location and still quiet, being on a side street. Excellent room service by Irini, always decorating the beautifully arranged fresh towels with flowers.
