It was all great.

The views are beautiful, it’s very peaceful & secure. Not far to drive from local restaurants and pleasant to walk in the hills. Charis was very friendly and hospitable he brought us fresh bread every morning & we could pick fruit from the garden.

Haris, Maria and their son Yiannis were super nice, warm-hearted people and outstanding hosts. Every morning Haris brought fresh bread, we got fresh fruit from the garden and self made Olive oil (which was very tasteful). They came by the property every day and were there for any questions, helped out with any wish as good as possible and gave good tips for restaurants, excursions etc. We enjoyed the 3 bedroom villa and loved having the private Pool and garden where we stayed basically the whole day when being at the Villa. We also loved the peaceful and quiet environment of the Villa in the middle of the Olive groves and the view! You need a car but some good restaurants, the Beach and Agia Marina are in a short driving distance. The location of the Villa is generally good to explore the Chania Region. We would defintely come back!!

Nothing everything was perfect

Amazing 2 week holiday due to the exceptional hosts Harris and Maria and their beautiful breathtaking villas. They are wonderful people, leaving bread every morning,gifts of olive oil, wine and Raki produced by Harris We have never experienced such kindness on holiday. 100% we will be returning .

The kitchen /living area is small for a family of four . We like to cook and there was no counter space for preparing food/chopping etc. Also because there is no dishwasher we spent too much time washing dishes. Having said that we spent most of our time outside and that was just beautiful.

This property was situated in one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed in. It was so peaceful, surrounded by olive groves and the sound of birds and with views of the sea in the distance. The sunsets were awe inspiring. The pool was a good size and the outdoor area was very comfortable with table and chairs, sun loungers and shade provided by umbrellas. We stayed in the middle house , which has two bedrooms an outdoor pizza oven and a bbq. The two bedrooms are comfortable and spacious . The downstairs one has sliding doors out to the patio and the upstairs one has views that you never want to leave. Harris and Yannis were very helpful hosts. Harris arrived most mornings with bread and we also loved his delicious olive oil made from his own olives. We were particularly lucky that it was orange season when we stayed and we had the pleasure of tasting the sweetest orange juice ever. Yannis always responded speedily to any questions including helping us with a dental emergency which we particularly appreciated.

Beautiful country property, well maintained, clean. Sizeable pool, well kept gardens with BBQ and bread oven. Quiet location, private, secure. A few minutes drive from the town and beach. Friendly and welcoming hosts - wonderful!

We found the beds to be a bit hard. Everything else was great.

We had an amazing stay at Meliades Villas. We were in the 2 bedroom villa. The facilities were spot on. I think that we made use of everything, including the huge BBQ. The pool was well maintained and crystal clear. We were well looked after by Harris, who made sure that we always had fresh bread and oranges, and a supply of his Raki. It is a lovely, quiet location, great for couples, families and grow-ups. It is about a 30min walk down to the town, but easy enough to get a cab back up if you need to. It was worth having a car, but we didn’t always want to drive. We would like to return.

Proximity to local town made it necessary to have a car. I knew this before going and had a car booked but it was the only downside.

We're so happy that have found this villa! Fully equipped house with nice garden and swimming pool. Very clean and cosy villa. Thanks to the great owners our stay there was incredible! Dear Harris, thank you one more time for fresh bread in the mornings and sweet oranges from your garden! So next time we know where to stay in Crete!

That we had to leave.

We had a blast at Meliades Villas. The grounds, pool and view are top notch! Haris was an outstanding host and made us feel at home with his generosity and warm demenour. He takes a lot of pride in his Villas and it shows. The location is a perfect home base to explore some of Western Crete's amazing attractions like Balos, Elafanosi and Samara Gorge. We highly recommended staying here.
