As the location was high up the hillside there were lots of steps down to the harbour, restaurants and beach, and it was quite an onerous climb back up to the hotel - but we knew this so it was okay. May not suit people who have difficulties getting up and down steps.

Rooms were large and clean. View from balcony was outstanding. Lady who ran the hotel was very friendly, and, given that she and her husband spoke little english, were very helpful and accommodating.

Meltemi entrance is on the mail street. So it's pretty dangerous when you go out from the apartment. Difficult to find parking on the street.

Mrs Geogina and her son Alexandros are very kind. The room is 5 minutes walk (with many stairs) to the port of Batsi. So you can reach restaurant and bakery without take the car. Fantastic view on the Aegean see from the room. Ideal for family with children. Thumbs up.

Just a heads-up. The location up the hill from the waterfront provides terrific views, but for some much older folk (like me) all the steps up can be challenging. You are fine if you have a car or take some taxis.

You will not find kinder or more helpful hosts anywhere! They helped with all my questions and gave great advice. The rooms are big and comfortable, and the flowers everywhere are amazing! Various outdoor kittens provide occasional live entertainment. (And they are never bothersome.) Quiet and peaceful. Great value!

Very close to the centre of Batsi. The room was very clean and quiet but seemed not to have a good soundproofing. During our stay there, the lady cleaned up every day and replaced the bed lining and the towels every second day! One morning, she saw us drinking our coffee in the yard and offered us some of her homemade candies. The day we were to leave the island (our ferry was to leave at 21:00 and the checkout was at 11:00 o'clock) so they asked us how we planned to spend the remaining hours till our departure. Hearing that we would enjoy a little bit more the sea, they offered us a clean room just to take a proper shower after the sea. We didn't take their offer, but this was very kind of them. We will definitely stay there if we visit again the island.

It is a long hike up A LOT of stairs to get there. I thought I knew what I was getting into... but I wasn't prepared. By day 2 or 3, I really started to dread the hike back up to the room.

Great little hotel/apartments that's perfect for a family. Being that it was at the top of the hill, the views were amazing. The innkeepers are very nice and helpful. Sweet people. I really enjoyed this property.

There are approximately 130 steps in the stairs down to the center where you find the grocery store and restaurants. The host was friendly, but don't speak much english.

it’s not that I didn’t like its location but the 135 stairs from the main strip can be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The apartments have amazing views and are everything you need for a small family.

I felt that tush cabin can be larger.

Perfect balcony, with superb view both to the see and to the hills. Very friendly pair of owners, quickly responding to questions and wishes. Beach and restaurants are close, despite the house (as all apartments in Batsi) is on the hill, steps corresponding to 7th floor.

Location demanded a reasonably level of fitness..139 steps down to harbour level.

The scenic outlook was delightful and the laundry service was greatly appreciated.

Very friendly owners. Nice room with view over the Batsi bay. Quiet and clean. This was our third stay in this hotel and we would most certain stay here again next time on Andros.

It is on the main road and depending on the room, you hear the traffic. Also, which didn't matter to us, it is over the town and to go downtown, you need to go several stairs. For travelers with reduced mobility, this should be said. For us, we enjoyed the trip downtown!

Meltemi is a great place to stay in Batsi. Very clean, beds comfortable. We had fantastic views over the bay and the courtyard is very green with many plants and a huge Bougainvillea. The owners are super friendly and always around to help with anything needed. The steps up from the beach were not an issue for us, more like an opportunity for a bit of exercise and also Meltemi is close enough to all the bars and restaurants and the beach.
