Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe condition of the wash room was terrible. I don’t understand how they can keep such low standard. They have WiFi only in the common areas.
Good location and have free parking which is one of the best thing.

NorwayThe standard is low on the toilets, but hey you´ll get what you need in basic needs and for that nice price maybe you can spend your time more outside and explore Athens and use the money you save on nice food and adventure? I can recommend to example take the tram witch goes really close to the hotel and take it to the centrum of Piraeus, to the stop called Dimarcheio. The trip takes over an hour and then you´ll se allot from the beautiful coast and what about eating a dinner near the ocean and look at the boats in Piraeus?
Really nice staff. Arthur who is one of the owners is working at the hotel together with a lady who is washing are really sweet and helpful. The Wifi is not on the rooms, but in the common area and I think it was a great opportunity for me to be on rehab from my internet addiction from home and I added one more thing: turned off my phone and left in the closet the booth weeks I was there. One last thing: it can be really noisy in the hotel so please put something in your ears to cancel some of it, all thought the traffic outside and if someone close their door hard or make noise in the hallway: you will probably hear it. If you are lucky, will it be sun outside so you can sleep out on the beach nearby.

GreeceIt's a very tired property, iron burns on floor and carpet, fittings that are broken or about to break. Not very sound proof, threadbare curtains. I was only there for one night but don't plan to relax in your room, it isnt that kind of room! Go out for a meal, sleep and hit the road early!
You stay here because you have to. Either for the convenience for the hospital or because you need to be in Vouliagmeni and can't find any other rooms. Very friendly lady at reception. Good access for supermarket, taxi, bus, tram stop, cafes.

United KingdomThe furniture had seen better days and the base of the bathroom door was rotten. But the main problem with this hotel is the night-time noise from the three-lanes-each-way coastal highway which it is next to. But we needed that for the X96 bus so for one night it's OK.
Hotel Miramare is what it is, a tatty, cheap hotel by a beach and with an X96 bus stop for Athens Airport just across the road. There is a bus every half-hour or every hour depending on the time of year and the time of night. Because it is opposite a hospital there are cafes, bakeries and a restaurant in within yards, which is great. There was a lady there on arrival and she phoned another friendly woman to confirm our booking so reception was fine. Reception was also quite smart. We had a large balcony and the bed was comfy. The following day there was no one on reception so we left our bags outside round the back of the hotel in a corner where they were out of sight. There are nice little beaches and a park going east but you can't get near the coast walking west as it has all been privatised. I recommend that you book a room with a private bathroom as we did.

The location is perfect, but the rest not satisfing at all for this kind of money they can at least make same changes in the room to become a little bit more from this century.

GermanyNo one was there at 6pm, when I arrived and I hat to wait for 15 Minutes and call a greek phone number 3x, as ringing the bell did not help. Mold is not accepted in any price category of hotel. General safety was not given. The bed is super loud whenever you turn around and the street quite noisy as well / windows were closed with a nail etc. All acceptable at the low price except for the mold and unsafe sockets.
The location and view were nice, there's an inofficial roof terrace that gives a nice view of the sunset. The staff was relatively friendly.
