Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The only thing that we would have liked to have, would be some more amenities for the kichenette (i.e. a kitchen towel, a wettex-type cloth and a roll of kitchen paper). Thanks to the baby we used the kitchenette a lot, and these amenities would really help us keep the kitchenette tidier and thus finish up our meal preps faster and easier. But, that really is a very minor comment. The overall condition of the property was really great.
The property was as advertised. Very clean, cozy and roomy. The heating was more than enough (including a/c, heating and fireplace), we had plenty of hot water at all times and everything was operational and as expected. The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything we requested. We also had a baby (<1 year old) with us and the amenities were more than adequate to support us and make us feel comfortable.

The house was very clean and cozy! Nice breakfast and the location is in a walking distance from the center. Easy access to the ski center road. Mrs. Natalia was very helpful with the parking arrangements! Much recommended!

More time.
The landlady and landlord are exceptionally kind. Breakfast was superb especially good coffee. A little gem of a place and people. Livadeia is a most surprising town, full of class shops and an amazing riverside walk in the gorge.

We had misunderstood and thought we had booked a room with a balcony. We asked if there were any flats with balconies left, and were able to change without any problem. The flats are very clean and comfortable.

Patriko is cute and cosy and in a great position in beautiful Arachova. The lovely owners let us have our 2 bedroom attic apartment early and we were very comfortable there - shower was good, beds good and we loved the view over the town. We left early to visit Delphi - literally just down the road - after picking up feta pies, bougatsa and Australian quality coffees for breakfast from a great bakery on the main road nearby. Patriko was great value and a great choice.

Very nice apartment in a perfect location in Arachova. Near the entrance to the village. Places to park your car nearby. Very clean and PATRIKO kept the apartment clean every day keeping an eye if new bed clothing, towels and toilet paper was needed. PATRIKO was always willing to give suggestions about places to visit in Arachova and around Mount Parnassos. I will definitely book again at this place if I come back to Arachova :)

We were only here for one night as a stop over after visiting Delphi. Was great for an overnight. The host was great and there is parking outside the house. Would stay here again.

The streets are narrow and steep near the apartment and you have to park close to buildings.
Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed our one night stay. The hosts were very friendly. I requested an upper floor room and for the sofa bed to be made up and both requests were met. We had a good night's sleep and it was convenient for visiting Delphi. The price of Eur 45 was very reasonable. They seem to have 3 apartments in the building. Two on the top floor and one on the ground floor. Sound proofing seems good as the upper floor seems to be made of concrete rather than wood.
