Everything was perfect, however sadly the pool is unheated which we learnt was very normal for Santorini...When we went to visit the pool is was freezing cold, and I mean FREEZING.... BUT we still took the opportunity to have a swim, which was again good fun due to the temperature, this made for lots of laughs and smiles! There are plenty of beaches on the island, therefore it wasn't really a problem anyway. The pool area is amazing, and very clean with loungers available. Sadly the sun this time of year never really hit the pool area therefore we did not spend much time here.

Amazing little hotel with lots of space. We're staying in Athens for 2 months and decided to visit Santorini during our stay in Greece. This hotel is located perfectly, only about 10 minutes walk into the main tourist area of Thera (Fira) town. The hotel was a comfortable size, with its rooms offering lots of space within... when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room provided to us! with a lovely little balcony overlooking the pool to the rear. The short walk to the town allows you to check out the shops and restaurants on the way, ensuring you don't miss out of any of the area which is why I recommend this little spot. During out stay we rented a quad bike for 2 days allowing us to cut our journey to and from the town shorter, whist having lots of fun riding the Santorini roads. I can say however, it's not just the hotel we love.. but it's the people who run this beautiful little place. Stella and her husband are amazing and so much fun to talk too. We immediately feel in love with both of them, their happy and positive attitudes made for fun conversation and they were very quick to make sure we had a fantastic stay and experience. I can't rate this hotel high enough, definitely 10/10 for everything and would highly recommend.

Katerodos close to Fira but less expensive and can park outside hotel instead of walking a long way with bags like at Fira. Small pool good for quick cool splash. Local resturant nearby. Whole island small and very quick to get around anyway wherever you stay.

I cannot express how happy I am with the hotel! Owners are super nice people, very helpful, kind and loving. We had a room with air condition, fridge (which is great!) always hot water, everything very clean. Our room was cleaned daily with towels changed too. The pool was perfect, very quiet, we had a lovely time relaxing there :) The location of the hotel is the best! With shop next door, open until late, lots of restaurants around and the best bakery called Erotokritos (delicious sandwich for 3euro, coffee 1,80, place with holiday vibe)-all 3 min walk from the hotel. Bus stop also 3 min away and 15 min walk to Thera. We could easily take a bus to the beach or Oia. The owner also picked us up from the airport and drop us off too! Staying in Pension Stella saved us a lot of money as its cheap around in the area, people are nice, kind and we had an amazing time there! We loved it all and we highly recommend!

The pension is not very big family home, with nice garden, pool area and terraces in the rooms. Our room did exceeded our expectations in regards of comfort, cleanness and facilities. The family of Gorge and Stella are very nice people who treat their guests very well and provide valuable information and recommendations. We did book the cruise to Nea Kameni with them, it is not more expensive and was very convenient to save our time to book it. Fira is 12 minutes walking distance or you can wait for the bus. The most beautiful bus stop we ever have seen is near by and you can take bus directly to Kamari, Perissa, Akrotiri with Red Beach and Airport. The bakery on the bus stop is great. Katerina's restaurant with local food on few steps to the pension - amazing!

Nice pension, 1 km far from Thira, in a cosy little village full of churches and windmill. Room was quite large, furniture a little bit old (suggestion: renew it!) but with a nice little balcony where to relax and leave washed clothes. We also enjoyed little swimming pool. Owners were so kind, they also permit us to use the bathroom the last day, after check out, to wash ourselves before landing.

Everything was wonderful.

Pension Stella was above and beyond our expectations. Beautifully maintained property with a lovely pool and well designed rooms. Karterados is within walking distance to Fira and right off the port bus line. But the best part of our stay was meeting our hosts. The property is run by the most wondeful people who go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. And Stella's breakfast overlooking the pool was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. Book this gem. You will not be disappointed.

It was a wonderful experience. George was a wonderful host who took good care of us from landing to take off you including pickup and drop off at the airport. It's a quite nice simple little place with some real character. The swimming pool that an absolute bonus in hot Greek afternoons. Away from the buzz of Fira but close enough by foot so to me just perfect location.

Stella and George (and cleaning staff) were all very nice and helpful! The breakfast in the morning with the view was especially nice! They helped us with renting quads, booking boat rides and with everything around the covid testing! I would definitely recommend :D!!

.We were woken up at night by people trying our door during g the night and then at 6.30am lots of very loud talk in the corridor & the scrapping of chairs from the flat above .

I stayed in Pension Stella with a friend while island hopping in Greece. We were staying in santorini for only one night so the accomdation was ideal. We were dropped down to the port after our stay by the owner which was so beneficial. The room was superb for what we needed and the pool was lovely. It was a 15 minute walk from Thira were we got to see the sunset and there is a bus stop close by to take you to different locations around the island. There is many supermarkets and also cafes and restaurants around so it is situated in an ideal location. The owners were very friendly and helpful which made our stay very enjoyable.
