United States of AmericaWonderful hotel, with plenty of amenities for both families and couples. We stayed in an oceanfront villa, which has a double bed upstairs and two separate sofa bed downstairs, big enough for our teens. Plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy - pool, beach, tennis/soccer courts, table tennis, billiards, gym, ... Staff was super nice and attentive, from check-in to check-out. Food options were excellent, we highly recommend the seafood restaurant. Would stay again!

United KingdomWe had a slight miscommunication issue, however Anastasia from Guest Relations resolved our issue immediately and was wonderful.
From arrival through to leaving we were so well looked after by the staff. The hotel and location is breath taking, absolute luxury. The food was phenomenal and options across the resort for food, sunbathing and entertainment is vast. We used the spa several times for treatments and had a relaxing time. We are already excited to return.

Such a lovely place to stay. Great atmosphere. my husband and I were lucky to have a room with a private pool which faced the sea. absolutely perfect! The staff were very friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend staying at The Royal Blue Luxury Resort.

I like the cleanness, the natural beach and large pool, the comfort at the beach and changing of towels The parking for the cars and in general plenty of facilities for all the guest. Breakfast is great. The Resort is close to the ports of Panormos and Rethymno which can provide for beautiful dining experiences

RomaniaWi-Fi reception in our room was really poor, kept dropping off and coming back on my laptop, in contrast if I was on the beach I had full reception, it needs to be the other way around, I would love to spend some work days here just chilling in my room and enjoying the afternoon after work, but with limited Wi-Fi its not possible,
Staff was very friendly, breakfest and dinner buffet were diverse, beach was nice and quiet, all in all a good experience. Location is 2h away from everything by car, so that was pretty handy for planning our trips.

Seems slightly under-staffed at peak times in main restaurant as plates pile up on tables - which detracts from overall quality of what is a good product.
Excellent facilities with the protected beach a real bonus. Friendly staff. Good quality in main restaurant. Clear protection concept for COVID times. Super housekeeping. Glorious sea views and very peaceful. Has exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time. The areas to look at below are not major criticisms!

United KingdomOn a couple of occasions our drinks weren’t full. It’s nice to feel like you’re being indulgent when you’re on holiday so you really notice little things like that. I’m sure it would have been no trouble for them to have topped them up on the few occasions should we have asked but it wasn’t a major deal. Coffee pods and milk should really be included in the room instead of at an extra charge and on the first night we had to quite a disjointed experience in the restaurant but I think this was due to lots of arrivals at the same time and a few minor mistakes, we’re all human! Otherwise there isn’t really much else we disliked. On the whole it’s a beautiful place filled with kind, friendly and welcoming staff.
Many of the staff really made the hotel. They were so lovely during our stay - both Marias at the beach club, Stavros, George & Giorgos (we think) in the main restaurant made it really special. Although ‘man made’ the beach is beautiful with crystal clear waters on a calm day and ample comfy sun beds to choose from. The pools are also well-kept and plenty to choose from. The greenery around the hotel is absolutely stunning and the gardeners/maintenance staff clearly do such a good job in maintaining it all. The rooms are very nice too, perfect for what you need when you don’t plan on spending much time in it!

GermanyThe resort is a little bit remote from the nearest bigger town. We had to wait a long time to get a shuttle transfer to the sister resort for dinner. Overall a lovely stay though. Food was a little bit pricey, which is to be expected from a resort of this quality.
Good variety of restaurants and pools. Nice facilties including an indoor and outdoor gym as well as a spa. Staff are lovely. Especially the waitresses and waiters at dinner.

United KingdomPoor check in process - involved downloading an app and scanning a QR code then filling in details on your phone, only then to check in the traditional way. Wasted an hour. Initial room was ground floor. No privacy as balcony leads out to the pathway with no barrier so kids would run out easily - got this room changed to a first floor eventually. Pricing in room charges throughout stay unclear at check out as the bill didn’t specify or correspond to anything in particular- therefore they could have applied any charge really. Also, lifts were out of action for 3 days and nothing was done about it even though I mentioned it to the desk staff each time. Ended up carrying the kids in the buggy up and down each time.
Great hotel located on the beach. Helpful staff. Nice pool area and beach. Good food options on half board.

Upon arrival, guest service staff assisted us and provided complementary welcome drinks. Staff are super professional and welcoming. They also provided bottle of champagne and wine and decorated the bedroom with flowers as they knew it was our honeymoon. They also upgraded our room from one with private pool to a villa free of charge. The breakfast was very rich and yummy. Housekeepers were very attentive and professional, room was very clean as well as the pool. Spa was nice and food was delicious. We would like to thank all staff and Maria in particular for their professionalism. Definitely this hotel exceeded our expectations. We would visit again in the future.

This place is wonderful, very clean, staff were amazing, Quality of the food 10/10, private beach, swimming pool, watching the sunset from the lounge area mind-blowing, overall we had a pleasant time 😊

United Arab EmiratesThe pool is huge and exactly as pictured, but it is so deep (1.75m) the whole way around which made it difficult for kids and most of the adults on our trip.
The resort is beautiful, clean and luxurious with some fantastic fine dining options which we've found lacking in the rest of our travels. The spa was also lovely, with incredible staff and treatments.
