Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Staying in an apartment with a side sea view was a delightful experience. The compact nature of the apartment was perfectly balanced with smart design and thoughtful amenities, making it feel cozy rather than cramped. The highlight, of course, was the side sea view. Each morning, waking up to the gentle sound of waves and catching glimpses of the shimmering ocean was incredibly rejuvenating. The apartment was well-appointed with modern furnishings and everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a spotless bathroom. The layout was efficient, providing ample storage space and a surprisingly spacious feel. The location was another major plus. Being just a short stroll away from the beach allowed for spontaneous beach walks and easy access to waterfront cafes and restaurants. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, adding to the overall sense of tranquility. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, providing clear instructions. Overall, this apartment with a side sea view offered a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and scenic beauty. It's an ideal choice for solo travelers or couples looking for a serene getaway by the sea. Highly recommended!

We loved everything.
Nice and clean apartment.. Small but enough for 2 people. It has everything that you need and it’s renovated. A 1 min. walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the restaurants and bars. Also, the host is always available for everything you might need

Location is great near to the beach bars and tavernas. Host is very helpful and nice. I can only recommed this place to anyone who likes good accomodation near the beach.

Awesome location, super friendly host, I asked for early check-in and got one (of course, because the previous guests left earlier). Studio with 3 beds is pretty good, enough parking on the street so you will never wonder where to park.

Could do with a kettle and toaster and bread knife. 2 bed studio a little small.
Near to beach and bars/restaurants. Nice countryside view from balcony. Janis the host. Fresh modern rooms with aircon

There were some trash containers in front of our apartment! It wasn't possible to sit on the balcony because of that disgusting view.

The room was too small for 3 people, around 16 square meters, including bathroom and kitchen
Close to the beach, the room was clean. The administrator was nice and helpfull.

very close to the beach literally 1 minute ! blinds in the windows, kitchen and stuff to prepare the meal, very good standard, very nice owner. Everything perfect !

Room I have booked it is very small, more suitable for one person than for two, so not much space around beds to open suitcases if they are not put on beds. There is not available window blinds and no sun tent/sun umbrella on balkon making very difficult to really enjoy there due to direct sunlight. Small coffee table on the balkon make dificult to organize breakfast for two persons at same time. There is very small kitchen. Some another appartments have windows blinds and sun umbrella, but our did not have it. Poor sound insullation and very noise due to very frequent traffic on the nearest road. If you would like to book it for 2 persons, maybe better to book bigger room there.
These are new appartements, very close to the beach and central/shopping area in Nea Flogita. Very easy communication with hosts, every time we asked for changing towels and toilet supplies it was executed. Moscito’s net is available. Air conditioning and wi-fi iscworking quite good. Bed is comfortable. Room on the first floor. Parking (on the street) is available close to entrance.

Very noisy, located on the main street, especially during the weekend.

The apartment is very close to the beach, perfect for a vacation with small children. The owner Yannis was very helpful, polite and professional. The kitchen is fully equipped and the entire place is perfect for longer stay or a weekend getaway. Our family is definitely staying here again.
