This all-inclusive/ premium all-inclusive concept was a bit confusing, and I didn't see it mentioned either here on Booking.com or on the website. When I go to all-inclusive hotel I expect everything to be included, but here I always bumped into something which was included only for premium all-inclusive (for example special coffees). Also, the beach had only sunbeds, but no service at all. I would not call it a 5-star hotel as it is rated here. I mean, it was very nice, but not 5-star. Also no coffee/tea at main restaurant for lunch / dinner was a bit irritating. You could always get those from the bar, but if you are lazy, you just eat your delicious dessert with wine.

We really enjoyed our short stay here! Staff was super nice and friendly, especially Areti from reception was just great! Very nice facilities, pool and slides, kids club and bars. Cocktails were very tasty and good selection. Food was good (especially desserts), and we really liked a la carte restaurant. Beach is only in 5 minutes walk. We had junior suite with private pool, the room was big and in quiet location. And hotel dog was just a blast for our kid :)

Main restaurant - decor and ambience need work. Did not enjoy presence of cat and dogs. Not sure why we were unable to eat outside on occasion. All-inclusive is poorly explained prior to arrival. Only a limited choice of beverages included. Not really a problem for us as we were out all day. Not very comfortable beds

Spacious modern and clean rooms. Good base to visit the west of Crete. Packed lunch available. Attentive reception staff who noticed we had a birthday during our stay. Birthday cake and wishes in à la carte restaurant.

‘The captain’ who was the entertainment guy was amazing it was so fun to do water polo every day with a load of strangers and make friends! As a vegetarian some times buffet’s aren’t the best place for me but this had so many options for me.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Solimar Aquamarine! Our family stayed in a room with a private pool and it was a great choice. The food was good, the drinks included in the all inclusive package were great too, including beer, local wines and cocktails, Pina Colada and Tequila Sunrise being my favorites. Speaking of the hotel staff - the people who work at the hotel were very nice! All our requests were resolved very quickly. The hotel is not close to Chania, but the buss stop is really close, 2 EUR per person to get to Chania.

Old air conditioners in the rooms, not clean and noisy. Almost all furniture needs a renovation, it looks pretty ok, clean, but not for 5 stars hotel. In the bathroom always was a lot of ants and also at the table in the main room, that was a real problem. From our 1st day the door locker was broken, we can’t open room with a card, on the reception we’ve got general key and manager told that someone will fix this, but till our last day nobody comes to do that and we used general key instead of card, it wasn’t good situation.

We had a room with own swimming pool. It is really nice, but room needs a renovation, it doesn’t look like 5 stars hotel. Super nice management and all stuff. Very delicious food, starts from the breakfast and finish with a lot of different options for lunch and dinner. It is cool that beach is very close to the hotel, 2-3 mins and you can have a sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, always available, not covered with a towels!!! Our own swimming pool was nice, clean and we also had own sun beds and umbrella. Very big and comfortable free parking.

The benefits/conditions of the Ultra All Inclusive needed to be clearer and made more explicit, both when making the booking (as we found out about the option to upgrade after we booked, through a review) and during our stay (as we needed to ask specifically for them).

Everything was just as described! Great atmosphere, good food and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely visit again.

Attention is great from the first moment you arrive. The roof bar is amazing and the People that work there too! Food in the buffet is good. Our kids had a great time in the kids club, nice Personal! Good to have a mini market inside the hotel and with a lot of good products.

The staff was amazingly friendly. The restaurant staff was top notch and food was fresh, tasty, presented beautifully. We have experienced all inclusive properties all over the world and this one was fantastic.

At first, we arrived to a room with blocked view, with broken air conditioner, we have asked to move and staff accepted, the second room was half renovated, no shelves in the closet, the door did not close smoothly, we had to slam it every time. There was rust in air conditioner which was also old. TV is tiny. Cleaning staff forget each day something else(towels/coffee/sugar). some of room’s lamps are swinging. The most annoying issue was the windows of the room which was not sealed because of the strong winds near the sea, staff were unable to fix it and did offer to move to a different room.

arrived late at night, receptionist welcomed us very kindly,. Most of the were kind and with positive attitude. The resort is very big and impressive. Pools and dining room are nice. Rooms are big. Hotel’s design is pretty modern. Close to the sea. Rooftop is pretty.

We disliked nothing. Could not find any fault. The Hotel Dog was a hit. Well behaved and knew not to come into the food areas. Excellent guard dog. I understand he is about six years old and was a rescue dog, We became friends. He understands English Greek and Polish !!!

Breakfast choice was exceptional. Variety and quality of fresh and cooked food beyond our expectations. Our junior suite was larger than we expected. All rooms looked big. Close to the beach 4 mins. Entertainment at night. Bus stops outside the hotel. Bus ( good drivers and quality) to Chania every 20 mins. Only 2 euro to Chania. Journey time 30 mins. Last bus back 11:30 pm. Plantanias nearby busy at night. 5 mins away towards Chania on the bus. We loved Acqa the Hotel Dog rescue dog. A reason to go backl!!!

There could have been better children’s food variety. It was the same almost every night with not much creativity. The adults’ buffet was quite good however.

There were very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel was super clean and rooms were perfect size for our family of 3.
