Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaWe loved the location close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The Appartement was simple and clean. The AC broke one night, but was fixed immediately the next morning. There is a little supermarket for the basics and some souvenirs right next door. Many thanks to Maria from the supermarket! She is such a wonderful and warmhearted woman, we loved to chat with.

SlovakiaThe matrasses could have been more comfortable, I could feel every spring in them, but managed to sleep. As the kitchenetts are in the sleeping rooms, they are very small with very limited space for preparing the dish but still managable. The electric stove in one of our appartments was weak so when we needed to cook (my children did not realy favour greek food) we used the same one but in the other appartment where it worked properly. The shower doors in one appartment were broken and need repairing not to have all bathroom wet. The appartments are situated next to a rent a car so the washing of the cars is ongoing. For us it was not disturbing, but elderly were a bit annoyed by that.
The appartments are situated just cross the street to the beach which is great. The beach is a mixture of sand and pabbles. The very entrance is with pabbles, then it is sandy one. In the sea you can see biger rocks so we used to walk to other parts of the beach without rocks which was about 5 min walk. The beach is full of beach umbrellas that cost 10 euros per set. We were 6 people in 2 appartments that had 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms which was great as my teenage girl can spend hours in the bathroom ;-). The common terrace is nicely big and it is great place to sit at. Cleaning is done every second day which was enough for us. Whenever you need to change the towels or sheets the cleaners are ready to do it for you. The owners are nice and had our airconditioning done repaired in one day once it started to overleak. They came to pick us up to Archangelos as we were arriving by local bus from Rhodes where we stayed few days ahead. In Stegna there is a transfer service to the airport (cost eur 65), about two possibilites to rent a car (great for visiting Lindos, Rhodes, Tsampiky Beach, Butterfly valley, Farma of Rhodes with amazing lemur and ostrich feeding experience, etc.), several shops (one below the appartments led by owner´s sister Maria), one ice cream shop and that is it. So it is suitable for those who are not looking for big night life. It is a very cosy and still Greek essence place which we enjoyed a lot. We have been in the same appartment second time and might consider it in the future again.

AustriaIt was all very good
Very comfortable apartment with a lot of fresh air. We even had 2 bathrooms which was great for a family of five. We slept good, didn’t have to use air-conditioning that much at all. The staff was very helpful and nice. Stegna beach is only a few steps away.

Czech RepublicDue to the problems related to the wildfires that affected Rhodes in July 2023, there occurred electricity outages time to time. Other than that, there were no other unpleasant circumstances observed during our stay.
The reason why I want to get back is the landlord and his sister who owns a beautiful shop within the apartments' facilities. Their hospitality and a warm-hearted approach was amazing. The apartments as such were cozy and clean, there was also a room service provided - the towels were exchanged every 2-3 days, the room was cleaned, the beds were done. The air-conditioning worked well and made the room temperature bearable during our stay in the hot summer (second half of July). The surroundings of the apartments was clean too. There was a huge terrace available where we could have breakfasts and dinners.

FinlandThe beds could be softer.
The apartment was exactly what we expected. The room was one bedroom apartment. Small kitchen with some kitchen equipments, but everything was enough. Maria from downstairs small market was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Really nice tavernas also near by. We could come again. 😊

United KingdomThere were a few minor issues with maintenance but Maria sorted everything.
Maria who looks after the apartments and runs the little shop is absolutely lovely. She couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is really good, just opposite the beach and very close to a choice of restaurants. Stegna beach is laid back, quiet and excellent for a beach holiday. The apartments feel very Greek and are a wonderful escape from the huge, impersonal all inclusive hotels.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately there were early morning or middle of the night trash pick-ups right outside our door, which can't be helped by the property owners, but was disruptive.
We really enjoyed our time at Stegna-Tula. We were warmly greeted and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The town of Stegna was beautiful and peaceful and quiet and the walk to the beach from our door was less than 100m. The beach was beautiful and mostly sandy and the water was calm and clear and great for snorkeling. There were many options for food that were delicious! It was only 10 Euros to rent beach chairs and an umbrella. It was a really amazing vacation and we would definitely choose this beach and this apartment hotel again.

United KingdomVery nice and helpful staff, it's family run businesss. Antonios answered all my questions before arrival, he sorted for me transfers from and to the airport as well as booked taxi for other day. His sister Maria who runs a local shop just next to the accommodation is very friendly and has a big heart. She pays attention to details and treat each customer in great way. Because we stayed in Stegna before the full season started most of the local shops and restaurants were still getting ready to open. It's good place if you are looking for few quite days in the sun.

Austriawe miss it already
- close to the beach (you walk less than 1min) - regular cleaning + fresh towls and bedsheets (the cleaning staff was very friendly) - the apartment got a good AC - and everything you need (shampoo, soap, towls, pods, a frying pan and other cooking utensils - if you need something, you can always ask the owners) - the owners are very nice! As a welcome gift we found wine, juice and water in the fridge :) and Maria was always there to help us with everything! She runs a small market in front of the apartment aswell (open everyday till 23:00) - we recommend the airport shuttle the apartment booked for us - she'll get you a very good price compared to others: we booked her again to take a daytrip to Lindos and to go back to the airport at the end of our stay) - beds were comfortable - checkout was very relaxed (11:30), we had enough time to pack our stuff and you can also leave your luggage in the storing room after checkout

GreeceThis review is only about the two different kinds of (allegedly) 2-bedroom apartments. I walked with crutches. I travelled with an 87-year old lady. We do not sleep in the same bedroom. I had ordered the kind of 2-bedroom apartment which is not upstairs with sea view. In addition, I sent two emails to make sure that we have an apartment on the ground floor. I got no reply although my other concerns were addressed. When we arrived we were told the only available room is upstairs on the first floor. The apartment consisted of a small common room with a bunk bed plus one bedroom with a normal size double bed and a small cooking facility. No chair or table inside. However, both rooms had bathrooms. There was a table with three chairs out on the balcony, which was common with another apartment. There were two narrow slivers of a sea view. This is not a 2-bedroom apartment, see below. The next day, we realized it was too painful for us and that we had to leave. In the afternoon we were given an apartment on the ground floor. The door opened to a common room with a small kitchen facility, one bunk bed and one narrower and shorter bed for a 10-12-year-old child. The room had no window (except a small tainted glass window on the front door), no chair to sit on and no table to sit at. However, it did have a separate bathroom. A door led to a bedroom with a full-sized double bed and a second bathroom, but no chair or table in that room either. It had a door to a patio with a table and three chairs. This was neither a 2-bedroom apartment. It too was a studio apartment with one bedroom. Both apartments sleep only two adults if they share the double bed. The other beds are only for younger family members. The hotel definition of a 2-bedroom apartment is that it has two separate bedrooms that can be closed with a door, plus a dining area with a table and chairs and a bathroom. The springs on all the mattresses were worn out and my bottom could feel the wooden bottom of the bed.
The furniture was new and everything was clean and tidy. The location is good, within a short walking distance to the sea but not where it is on the map. Stegna-TULA is in the same building complex as Mediterraneo apartments, which is on Google maps at 36.20463703413421, 28.13902104883427. The two-room apartments had air conditioning in both rooms. The cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful and so was Maria who also runs a small but well-stocked supermarket on the premises. Had it not been for her service-minded attitude and willingness to solve a problem we probably would have left the first morning. Maria is the life and soul of the place.
