The location of the hotel is super convenient. It's 3-5 mins walk to the beach. Also there's a bus stop nearby in case you travel to the city. The staff is friendly and hospitable, they really do their job best.

Living room was quite dark, toilet was small and could need some modernisation.

Very well situated between 3 beaches. Close to Chania, you can even make a longer walk to the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The restaurant offers also excellent food and drinks.

There was nothing myself and husband didn't like about the place.

Everything, leftaris and his crew were exceptional. Anna,minos,eleni,the chefs,breakfast crew,the cleaning ladies,bruna and Charlie the babies,food was superb,would recommend for anybody to come here. They cater for all. Looking forward to seeing them all again. If we could give them a 200 percent rating we would.

We did not have a kettle like in the photo. It was a bit noisy because I assumed we had a kitchen behind the wall. It's hard to keep the bathroom fresh. Maybe needs more updated ventilation. It would be nice to have different breakfasts at least day after day.

In this hotel, I felt like at home. The location is great! Three good beaches are near it. Also, there is a good park to walk to in the evening, a bus station to the city and a small shop where you can by even souvenirs. The hotel is pretty nice with a very good restaurant (we always had lunch there) and breakfasts. The staff is very kind and friendly. The hotel takes care of ecology. It was nice to have a bag to use. Thank you for the compliments. It was tasty :)

The staff is excellent, warm friendly and helpful. I stayed for 21 days in order to explore the island of Crete and Ana was a great host, so kind and each day so friendly, smiling and cheerful. The food was great (especially local dishes - dakos for breakfast and all the dishes served for dinner). The location is very great and strategic if you want to be near 4-5 beaches just a few minutes walk. Cleanness was on a very high level and towels and sheets were changed every 2 days.

Room felt slightly outdated but not really an issue.

Great location. Lovely staff. Amazing food - had at least one meal there every day (people would come from elsewhere to eat). Great pool facilities, although the restaurant seating is around it which I didn’t mind, but if you like more privacy could be a consideration. Overall great stay!

The WiFi was really bad, unfortunately :( Not an issue for us since we had mobile internet and I did not need it for vacation that much, but definitely something that could be improved.

The staff and the owner are really passionated about the place! The food is better than in city center cafes, authentic and tasty. Any questions we had were resolved in a timely manner. Location is not far from Chania, 10 mins by car, and the beaches nearby are quite secluded (not crowded), which is a plus, in my opinion. Overall - definitely amazing quality for the price.

Nothing. It ticked all the boxes. It is important to realise it isn't a posh, high class, boring, generic hotel. It is a truly wonderful authentic Cretan hotel. Even their dogs are well behaved. Gorgeous in fact. We'll be back.

Outstandingly friendly, relaxed, helpful, hospitable. The hotel room was clean and well equipped. Not luxurious but that's not what we wanted. We wanted an authentic Cretan hotel, with great food, friendly local hospitality. It was quite simply a brilliant experience. The location is fabulous. We walked to Chania. There were trips all over the region and three beaches within a 5 min walk. If you want a posh hotel which could be anywhere in the world, don't go here. If you want an amazing week in a truly wonderful Cretan hotel, book up now.

Superb family run business that has lots of charm and in a fabulous place to explore. The beach is literally 100yds away through a nice public park. Easy bus to Chania, and lots of other places

Perfect restaurant, veery good food (best on the island) Punchy cocktails , very nice staff. Nice swimming pool, good sunbeds and everythinng was new and clean outside the pool. Rooms spacious (we had room25, view to the entrance, back of the pool)., Everything functional. The hotel was renovated a bit every year (don't expect everything to be new) The beach is ~ 7 min walk. Warm water and 12 eur 2 sunbeds (yanis beach) There is enough parking outside, also spots at shade. A small park outside. Overlall, the owner takes good care of the hotel, is very friendly and everything is clean (you have cl eaning every 2 days)

Great location. Tasty breakfasts. Restaurant indeed is the best in the area. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Several shops nearby. We were advised for a private boat trip that was a great adventure.

Location, great hotel staff, breakfast. We stayed at "superior studio apartment" , have in mind that not all rooms have the same level of comfort/view/size - ours was fine and I can recommand it

Everything was perfect except the beds were a little on the hard side.

The staff were amazing and made us feel at home the moment we walked in the door and the doggies were the highlight of our stay. We also ate at several restaurants whilst there and the food in the hotel restaurant was by far the best quality we had whilst on the island.

We had an unforgettable week at Talos. The hotel has everything: great location, incredible service, and amazing food. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and you could tell they really cared about quality. Special thanks to Anna and all the staff that went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We will defently stay there again next time.
