The property is not is central Fira, whoever think of going & staying there, must hire a car for better travel option.

Kostas & Zoye have been an amazing host throughout. They looked after us like a shadow and was always there to lend there hand in need. The property is beautiful with private pool, very clean, breakfast was good and customer service is excellent.

While there were no issues with security, the land surrounding the lodge is open and unfenced, which is fine for as long as the island remains peaceful, safe, and with low crime rates.

I loved Thimari Lodge. Minimalis, elegant, and upscale in design. Serene, peaceful surroundings. Friendly and supportive management and staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There could have been a bit more variaty and a bit less bread/pastry/sweet bakeries included in the breakfast. Maybe some fresh fruits, berries, cheese or/and other toppings for the bread. Now there were only buttet for the bread. The location is a bit outside of Oia and Fira and other cities, so you need a taxi, Uber or car. The prices for taxi vary quite a lot.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful! They helped us organizing transportation to places, and were eager to give tips for activities and places to see. The villa was very nice and clean, and well equiped. The pool was cleaned every day. It was nice to get to choose the "main course" in the breakfast from different options, as well as the time for delivery to the villa.

Everything was perfect

I booked this trip for my partners 21st birthday. When we arrived, the staff arranged for there to be balloons, a cake, wine and fruit which was really nice. We also got a room upgrade. There are so many good things about this place, firstly, before we arrived, George was so helpful when I asked about things to do on the island or helping to book a car/ATV. Mr Kostas was so welcoming and checked up on us everyday and he recommended some really nice places to visit. Breakfast was brought to us every morning and it was very nice. The pool was cleaned every morning which was really nice to see. I really would recommend this place to anyone, we both had an amazing stay and would definitely come back in the future.

This is really special place to stay. Kostas and his team including George the super helpful concierge were amazing. So welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. The breakfast was brought to the villa every morning and it was delicious and generous. The villas are beautifully designed and furnished. There were welcome fruits and soft drinks and wine (and Kostas kindly gave us a bottle of wine as we left too). Our villa was cleaned really well each day and the pool was also cleaned each day. It was so peaceful - and close to the beach. It’s about a 7 minute drive to Fira. There’s parking outside the villas and definitely recommend hiring a car as Santorini is easy to get around. A highly recommended, magical place to stay.

The private pool is great, amazing views and the best level of service - extremely welcoming, breakfast delivered to your villa each morning and help with arranging transport or activities. We wanted to write this review because our experience here was perfect. We have been at Thimari Lodge for two days and from the moment we arrived everything has been wonderful. The villa was fantastic, beautiful and very comfortable, close to everything. But above all we would like to emphasize the incredible effort from our hosts, George and Mr Kostas, to make our experience unforgettable. They are exceptional hosts, always trying to help and with a huge smile, they gave us wonderful tips about the island and about our next destiny in Greece. From before arriving there is a direct and personalized contact with a wonderful team behind. Thanks a million for everything to everyone, we just want to come back again so we can be as happy as we have been these 2 days. Congratulations for your great work! There was absolutely nothing we didn’t love about this place other the fact we had to leave!!

What an amazing place, a beautiful escape away from the hustle and bustle. Kostas and his team are fantastic, so very helpful and they make everything just perfect. The accommodation is beautiful, very clean and tranquil. The breakfasts delivered everyday are so tasty and way more than we expected. The location is perfect, literally 10 minute drive to anywhere, we hired a car and saw most of the island and managed to avoid the crowds by following the advice of Kostas, when places got busy we escaped back to our beautiful lodge to relax. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful place, they really will look after your every need. It was my birthday while we were staying here and I had balloons, Prosecco and the most fabulous cake, it was just amazing. If this place is available don’t even think about it, just book it!!!!! You will be so glad you did!!

Kostas, zoi and George where incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. The property was top spec and the pool looked bigger than the images we where not disappointed! The wild flowers surrounding the property like lavender, cactus and tomatoes plants made it feel very special, paradise in the wild. Away from all the tourist areas which get incredibly busy it was lovely to escape. Yalos bar is a 15 minute walk not your average beach bar, the decor is beautiful, cactus and raffia setting by the ocean - fun team and delicious food.

Thimari lodge was a breath of fresh air, literally. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira. It's rustic, yet modern decor was refreshing. The owner, Kostas, was accommodating and friendly. The concierge, George, was a professional, very responsive, and was also very patient. He fulfilled all my requests. Honestly, all was perfect!

One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the dedicated team. They were always ready to assist and fulfilled every request with a smile. Not a knock against the property but the turn off the main road is easily missed. Again, not a knock against the property but as a traveller be aware that because the second room is a loft anything happening on the main floor is heard.

Kostas and all the staff were friendly and responsive. The breakfasts delivered daily were delicious. The personal pool was a hit with the family. The property is clean and maintained daily. It was nice to have a quiet and secluded place to return to after busy days and busy streets in the main towns.

The place is a bit remote. Access to the island's attractions is only by car. The breakfast was adequate and well presented if a bit generic. If it were possible it would be fun to be able to order a wholesome Greek breakfast - Vegetables, Feta cheese, olive oil, Keftedes, Tzatziki. Already presnt on the menu were the Greek pastry (spinach and cheese) which was grrrreat! and the Greek yoghurt which came with the granola which was creamy and delicious

The place was beautiful, extremely well appointed and well thought through and designed in every detail. It was also kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The location was close to the airport and a walking distance down to Exo Gialos small harbor. George the concierge's recommendations were spot on and the hosts Costas and Zoi were the absolutely very best

It is unfortunate but taxis cost a lot of money. As Thimari Lodge is far away from the usual tourist spots, we spent quite a lot of money on taxis.

The host was so kind and helped us out so much.. We will never forget such kindness. He treated us like family. The lodge was stunning both inside and out. Everything was clean. It was such a peaceful stay where you could see amazing sunrises. Our young daughters loved playing there. The kitchen was handy when we needed to feed them snacks. As a Muslim family, we valued being able to order halal food to the lodge. Also there is lots of privacy outside the lodge when in the pool/garden area.

The whole experience was amazing and super relaxing. The hospitality of Kostas, the owner, is amazing - he treated us with such care that we had any of our questions answered and catered for, with personalised recommendations and so on. Additionally, you have a concierge, George, available via whatsapp the whole time to make sure your stay is effortless and memorable! We loved staying at Thimari Lodge - I have looked through hundreds of accommodation options for Santorini and this one stood out. It did not disappoint and we would definitely stay again!
