The hotel has beautiful views of the lake, it was very relaxing to stay there

While we were there a wedding was taking place which meant loud music from the festivities into the evening. Would have been nice to be informed by reception upon checking in, and would have been appreciated to have been offered ear plugs to help combat the noise. Reception staff could have been friendlier; they generally ignored everyone unless you walked right up to the desk.

Property is extremely nice and well maintained. Comfortable beds.

Service at the beautiful lakeside cafe was nonexistent. 45 minutes to get a coffee Mattresses were completely worn out with huge valleys from wear.

I was chased down and asked for a bag check over a 6 pack of beer. I was unaware of the 'no alcohol' policy as I have never encountered this once in all my global travels. It is a condescending policy and asking for a bag check was quite frankly outrageous, especially considering that this is one of the priciest hotels in the area. Make sure if you are looking to have a nice glass of wine in the comfort of your own room, to keep that to yourself.

Stunning Lake view and a well appointed room. The shower was hot and with good pressure. The gardens are lovely and the small infinity pool was a nice bonus for us. Would be a nice place for a wedding/honeymoon or special event.

Breakfast was expensive for what they offered and not all items were available until the end of breakfast time. Hotel has only standing fans and cooling of rooms is difficult. Big difference between cool outside temperatures and inside room temperatures.

View of Atitlan lake was excellent. Hotel has excellent location and short distance to boat piers. Great views to the lake and volcanos.

although there were shades on the window, the Levolor windows did not fully close so the shade banged and rattled if you put it down. Impossible to sleep that way. So the shade is up and light comes in the room. I’m sure there is a way to remedy this…

amazing staff. Incredibly helpful. Beautiful location right on the lake with gorgeous views. Excellent small café on the grounds and a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the lake.

There are some rooms that are upgraded and some that are not. The one that is not upgraded has obvious wear and tear. Bathroom drain didn’t drain well and I also found stains on the bed. Everything was a bit old and below average when it came to the interior.

The property is well kept and beautiful as it is right by the water so it has amazing views. All the staff that I encountered were nice and helpful. The breakfast spread was also very tasty. location wise it is good distance to lots of stores, coffee shops and restaurants

the service and attention of some waiters is not adequate, they are abusive, but there are other people who know how to do their job and one is grateful to those people

I had to wait for almost 2 hours after check in hour to my room to be ready. Fyi, I called earlier and was told that I could enter before check in hour without a problem, so I had to wait for a total of 4 hours to my room to be ready. Also my lunch food was not great. The fries tasted like rotten oil, my meat was dry, the side dishes were horrible. Also they took a lot of time to give us our food.

The locations, the service attitude of most of the staff, their kindness. The buffet breakfast was amazing, that was worth it!!!

I was told by 2 workers at the desk that breakfast was included. While I was eating breakfast I was approached and ask to pay for it. So I did. But it was a bad response from the stuff after I told them that I was assured breakfast was included. Her response was: is not you need to paid. I did mentioned at the front desk and they didn't seem to care. I did provide the names of the 2 employees but nothing happened. That customer service should be better, but I was in a 3rd world country.
