The walk on the road from the property to center is very dusty and loud but again, it’s not a problem if you’re inside.

It was very quiet despite being on a busy road, guests here also tended to be more quiet people so I was grateful for that! 2 cute cats (1 is very brave and may jump on your bed haha)

The kitchen was being refurbished so we couldn't use it. The works took place in the late evenings, very noisy. At 22:30 pm I asked if they were finishing soon as it was late and we had to wake up early the next day. Overall the room was ok but there is 0 isolation. Can hear everything that happens outside of the room. Cold Water in low pressure shower. Parking not included.

Really friendly people at the Posada. We were offered a private bathroom for convenience.

The area was a bit noisy(traffic etc.) but I had no trouble sleeping.

I had a private room with private bath in a hostel. The room was small but very clean and affordable. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. It was located next to the central market and a short (4 block wwlk to a busy commercial area with many shops, restaurants, and cafes.

the reservation was properly made via booking, but the hotel did not know about it. We dealt with 30 minutes of room allocation.

the breakfast was excellent, but it is not directly in the hotel. The receptionist will write you a voucher and you have to go 600 meters to CafeCafe, which is served by several hotels and you have to wait a long time for free seats.

There was a slight smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Sometimes one should be careful not to step on a poo that the dog of the house could leave on the terrace, before the staff could clean it.

I appreciated the hospitality and the conversation with the owner of the place. A comfortable place to stay, good size room, comfortable bed, large bathroom. I appreciated the view from the terrace and the inner yard of the place. It was a real good value for money.

Some of the facilities are a bit dated and the shared bathroom is small, but very functional. Sound travels quite freely between rooms. Not much to complain about, though!

This was a very pleasant place to stay. The hosts are warm, it's got a small kitchen and the rooms themselves are spacious and clean. They were nice enough to let us do a bit of laundry in their basin and had a great spot for hanging it up on the roof. Internet connection was stable and the property feels very secure.

There is no hot shower and the wifi is a bit poor. Both mornings someone started sweeping outside our room which woke me up around 7am. The dog is scary, starts barking and biting at my girlfriend. For those reasons it is quite expensive to stay here.

I've got somewhat small and basic room for money paid but price/quality ratio is overall not very good in Antigua, Guatemala. The night keeper was almost impossible to talk to without knowing Spanish.

Good location, fun balcony. There is a bus terminal and big market around the corner. Although placed near very busy road (lots of camioneros crossing every day) it felt surprisingly calm at night. The owner is helpful and easy to talk to.

Hooks to hang towels would be useful; we didn’t like the old style blanket and folded it away

The staff was very attentive to our needs (e.g. booking a taxi to the airport, advising us where to eat, changing the towels). The location was perfect for us: just outside the noisy centre but within easy walking distance, just behind the market (cheap local eating places) and near the bus terminal (we travelled by bus from Lago Atitlan). Nice patio with benches, lovely tiles on the floor
