Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeSmall and cosy. The cleanliness was impressive. I come back to a sparkling clean room and toilet daily. Superb location. Right beside Tsim Sha Tsui exit D1, and directly above the renowned Jenny Bakery. I love immersing myself into local residential building i/o a normal hotel which lack human touch.

United KingdomNot really…..all fine & not so fussy at all! I’m the “when you’re in Rome, be a Roman” type of individual. 😊
It’s in the heart of the area for your everyday needs - food, drinks, shopping, transportation both bus & MTR, bus stop & MTR stations.

PhilippinesThe location, its dirty & obviously old and dilapidated building (Mirador Mansion) The set up for elevator accessibility quite hassle and confusing.
Unexpectedly clean and presentable dormitory like hotel. ( Mind you they are one of the many tenants of Mirador Mansion)

PhilippinesGreat location. D1 Exit of TST Station is just around the corner. Walking distance to the harbor and major locations. The room itself is clean, basic toiletries provided, free water, hot/cold shower, and a fan if needed. Manage expectations because the building's a bit old, but thankfully the room I had was well maintained. For budget travelers, it's slightly more expensive than dorms but I'd say it's worth it to have a private bathroom.

Czech RepublicIt's not a complaint, but rather a note. The rooms are small, but on the other hand it offers an excellent price / performance ratio. So it's actually not a disadvantage.
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. They helped me with everything I needed and gave me advice when I didn't understand or didn't know something. The stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The hotel room was very clean. Room cleaning was regular and thorough. The hotel is conveniently located near MTR station. There are several bus stations in the vicinity of the hotel. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I also recommend the hotel to foreign travelers, you can communicate in English without any problems.

United KingdomShower and toilet area is relatively a bit small for the small twin room, however, the shower and toilet area for the triple beds room is adequately spacious
Very well how even though it is bizarrely rated as a one star accommodation, it comes with a mini fridge, powerful A/C and even a plug socket extension, for the money spent it gives double value which SHOULD BE noted as a plus point!

LatviaAll fine
Small hotel on the 14th floor, there are 2 elevators to get there, not too long waiting time. The room is super small but somehow it fits the bill - everything is there, even hangers, tv, hair dryer and mini fridge. Location is great, next to metro, and also short walk to ferries (they are about 2 x cheaper to go to downtown than the metro). Thin walls, but was lucky with the neighbors who didn't abuse that. Would stay again.

PhilippinesIt's kinda offputting at first since Sleep Inn is in an old residential building, and I thought we entered the wrong place. But once you reach Sleep Inn, the vibe is different and welcoming.
The hotel is within a building with residential units, so you'll walk through hallways with residents to get to Sleep Inn. All in all, we had a great experience during our stay. They've provided basic services like body wash, shampoo, toilet paper, storage safe, refrigerator, etc. We also didn't have to buy bottled water since they provide refills in their shared kitchen area. The rooms are small though, but since we're out the entire day, and this is just a place to sleep in, we think it's great and comfy.
