Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IcelandBreakfast over the weekend was a fight for a table!! They should have a line "wait to be seated" or another solution. Was redicuolus for the guests. Bed was tired looking, flaking leather look but the matresses were good. Everything else ok in the room. Staff very nice. Requested a walk in shower...but didn't get it...hopefully next time in a few days. Bathtubs are not good to crawl in/from when you are onesixty. Easy bus connection to/from old town. Expensive meals.
Very nice hotel. Clean. Good breakfast.

IndiaExcellent property with facilities as expected from a 5 star resort. Rooms are large with beautiful sea view, breakfast is ample and parking is right outside. Some of the best beaches are close by. Best is the connectivity to the old town for which bus station is right outside and extremely convenient. Highly recommended.

GermanyEverything was great. Because we were there off season we got an upgrade on our rooms. The room we were in was one of the best ones I've been to. So much space, with two bathrooms and also a balcony and amazing sea view. The breakfast was also really good with good quality food. You could also order Eggs Benedict without having to pay extra. The location is really nice as well, between pine trees and seafront. The staff were all very polite and friendly and ready to help. The city is also very near, either with car or with the public bus. All in all great stay and I would recommend!

FinlandPrices at the restaurants at the hotel and resort were a bit high compared to prices at the area itself. If you walk away from the resort you can find few restaurants nearby that have lower prices and food is still good or even a bit better because those restaurants are local and not owned by any chains
Hotel was fantastic! I travelled off season, so there was no crowds and I was able to get good sunbed spots everytime of the day and good table at breakfast. Room was absolutely stunning, big and comfy bed and room itself was big and clean and decoration was great. And even though I didn't reserve a room with a ocean view I still got partial ocean view from balcony which was great bonus. Staff were helpful and I got to use all of the hotel amenities after checking out since my flight left in evening. Dubrovnik old town is easy to acces by bus from hotel. Hotel is located in beautiful area, and most of my time I just spent strolling around and sunbathing and eating. If you are looking for easy holiday, sunbathing and good quality hotel, then this is it. But if you are looking for more activities and city life and nightclubs and bars, choose some other hotel. All in all, great excperience and I would go again!

CroatiaNot all staff were up to the job, but the majority of them were wonderful...
I stayed in the neighbouring hotel, the Royal Princess. It was an upgrade to Ariston as I got a whole residence for myself. I loved the view, breakfast was great, loved the size of the room(s). Very clean and great housekeeping. Facilities were really great. Nice parking garage. Insanely good value off season, and the best time to visit Dubrovnik! I recommend!!!

Everything you need is at your fingertips from restaurants, swimming options, many areas to relax, great staff, secure parking, gymnasium, sauna and many more facilities. We could be here for months and not need to leave the complex. A great facility to enjoy at your own pace.

SwedenLow season (November) meant not very many guests and some facilities were locked down (out side pool, some restaurants etc. This was communicated in advance so I was prepared. The area with the close by beaches was somewhat dead due to low season. More active areas in 15 min walking distance.
Excellent 5 star hotel with all advantages you can expect. Due to low season the price was very low. Room with the view over the Adriatic Sea was spectacular. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. Good well equipped SPA with indoor pool area

United KingdomGood variety for breakfast, but small plates instead of a platter of fresh salmon? At this level we are usually served a pot of coffee and tea at the table on arrival. Sadly the scrambled eggs were overcooked, stiff, and cold, so opted for fresh eggs scrambled at the omelette counter. Loved the secluded areas amongst the rocky enclave to sunbathe and the amazing sunsets from our balcony😊
