Villa Marijam exceeded our expectations and was our favorite accommodation in Croatia. Every day we were there, the terrace beckoned, challenging us to stay rather than explore the wonders of Hvar. The views were spectacular; the AC blew old, and our hosts were incredibly gracious.

Beautiful location, close to the centre but without the buzz of it, and close to an amazing beach. Friendly host, and the room was naturally cold so no need to put on the airconditioning long even on the hottest days.

It’s a little way out of town but the walk is safe and easy and bar one flight of stairs flat. Was worth it for a views and quiet though.

Manager was there when we arrived. View and outside areas was fabulous and private. Small kitchen and loads of fridge space meant we could have snacks and drinks and cooked diner there one night. Air con was effective and needed!

Nothing it was perfect!

The villa was absolutely perfect. Only about 15 minute walk into town and less than 5 minute to a small supermarket. The best thing about the apartment is how close it is to the beach (which is so lovely and quiet) and only £10 for a sun longer. The apartment was really spacious and clean and had everything we needed for the week. Our host Nina was really attentive and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely go to beach bar Mamato which is owned by Marijam who owns the apartment. Nina even helped me get my sandals which I’d left at the beach bar!!

It would have been a bonus to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cool and the villa is on a very busy road - not major issues though.

Lovely welcoming staff nice room with lovely terrace and small but clean bathroom. About 15 mins walk down to the Old Town so good location although very hilly to walk back do we tended to walk in and taxi back at night which costs about 15 euros. The villa staff also provided airport transfer which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely nothing.

This place was amazing! Fantastic location, great views, and very clean rooms. President Beach is also nice and close for swimming. Nina was so helpful with everything from ordering taxis to finding a great place to eat. Will definitely be back!

We loved the view and Patio, never wanted to leave. The family was really really lovely and very helpful. The Villa was situated a little from the town center which we appreciated and it had a very private beach. There are a couple of little restaurants nearby and a lovely walk into Hvar along the waterfront. Did I mention the view! We will be back.

the host stayed up until we arrived at 23h. Also I had forgotten my camera charger and while I eas still traveling, she went to an electronic store to see if she could get one for me. Super friendly and helpful host!

There was a strong smell of sewer gas in the shower, if there was water in the drain it wasn't as bad. We told the lady looking after it and she thought it was from the storm but ...

the actual rooms could use a little TLC. the lights were flickering and the pipes in the bathroom smelled at times but that could be just because the plumbing is like that on the island. Still neither even remotely enough to deter from the beautiful view and location.

the view was unbelievable and Maria was incredible at hosting, giving tips, and making you feel at home. I wish all hosts were as attentive as she is. would 100% come again!

amazing view and quite area. the place had a private beach below the apartment, takes literally 2 minutes to get there. we enjoyed the fact that the apartment is not in the city center, but just a step out. it’s peaceful and great for relaxation

Literally the best experience ever! The host Maria is wonderful and let us checked in earlier. We even got to loan beach towels for free for our whole stay of 6 nights, and they even gave us fresh towels for feee. so nice! Super neat and clean place and very calm! President beach is like 2 min walk away and one sun bed is 100kuna which is like 14€, super nice beach and affordable if your staying like a week. 10-15 min walk to the beach club Hula Hula! Loved this place and will most definitely stay here for my next visit to Hvar! magnificent!! ❤️❤️

was not a problem to us, but in hot days the downtown is a little far by walking.

the view is fantastic, super close from the ocean. Kitchen well equipped! supermarket right in the corner. Calm location, really clean, Marijan was great with us!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with private outside garden and had a great sea view. The apartment had all we needed and we were surprised when we were told we had free WiFi has thought we wouldn’t have. Thought property was great value for money. Location is about a mile outside the main town/ marina area. For us this was prefect as really quiet at night away from the buzz of nightlife in the town. But you could walk into town along a seafront walkway which we did every night when out for dinner in the town. If we ever came back to Hvar we would stay here again.

There is no internet connection at all, I usually don't use internet, I need ti for my work, so it was really uncomfortable when I had to work on on my laptop!

The view is amazing and it is so secluded and relaxing!
