Small things,air-conditioning in my room makes rattling noise motor inside needs changing,and plumbing in shower drainage not very good plus not a bug fan off that massive toilet with flush button down on the side. Just little things I picked up on because I'm a plumber. Plus for this price it really could do with a mini fridge in room.

Something to be mindful of is the hilly location and a number of steps at the property. This is not a problem if you do not have mobility problem’s.

Not the easiest to find. Sign outside is difficult to read and make sure taxi is looking for Blue Parrot and not somewhere with a Pirate in the name. Take zip code or map for taxi driver.

Short taxi ride from Airport (50k R). Blue Parrot is in a quiet part of town away from the noise of LBJ. You can walk safely to good places to eat and or into LBJ. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially with help for onward travel and where to eat. Nice breakfast included with views over the bay. Very good value for money.

There were mosquitoes that lurk outside our room so you have to be fast entering.

Our host Suni was so helpful in providing us with restaurants and tours to see the Komodo dragons and caves. This is a boutique hotel with three rooms. You are lucky to get accommodations. The hotel looks unassuming from the outside but beautiful as you walk down the stairs for beautiful views of the ocean port.

The property is a little hidden from the main road and its a somewhat steep walk too from the city center, but you can easily reach most of the restaurants/bars and shops within 10-15 minutes of walking.

We had a very warm welcome at checkin and our room was ready much earlier than the listed checkin time. The view was great, it seemed we had been given the best room available. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff continued to show kindness and welcomeness every day/night we were there.

The toilets need proper doors, curtains are too small for comfort. The sea view room toilet is not as good as the normal room toilet (we stayed in both rooms) and we faced water clogging issues on first day. But let me assure that Suni will solve all your problems.

The manager Suni is a fantastic person. He helped us with everything from arranging airport pickup to Komodo island trip to solving the issues we faced with the toilet. Always with a smiling face and ready to help. The view from the breakfast area and sea view room is very good.

Altough it is very close to the beach, you cannot swim, as the water is dirty because of the nearby fishmarket.

Suni, the manager was very helpful and nice. The guesthouse is in a beautiful garden setting and the rooms are comfortable.

Super friendly people and lovely place. Room was spacious and we had a very comfortable 2 nights here. They accommodated our breakfast needs given a trip and flights. Quiet and peaceful spot. Highly recommend (lovely view from the reception/breakfast room). We were given recommendations for restaurants and staff helped with our taxi needs

Our hosts Suni and his wife (?) were wonderful! friendly, polite and very helpful with everything we needed or wanted to know. The accommodation seems to be newly refurbished with really nice bedrooms/bathrooms and the most comfortable bed we have slept in in ages! The location is super convenient with only minutes down to the harbour and the city centre and the view overlooking the harbour/bay is stunning! We also loved our breakfast with toast, omelette, cereal & yoghurt, fresh fruit,... Everything was perfect for us and we would go back there to stay anytime again!

No ice available for drinks as is the case mostly in the island. The curtains in the bathroom which serves as the door could do with a little more width. This is only an issue as we had our daughter with us. But for couples, this would just be fine. No other amenities.

The view of the harbor from the hotel was amazing. The rooms were big enough for our family of three. The welcome staff were very friendly.

Everything about Blue Parrot was perfect! Couldn't be happier that we chose this. Suni was very kind and helpful, he gave lots of tips about the places we wanted to go to. Breakfast was also very nice and came in a big portion! The lady that prepared the food was very warm as well. Room is quite big for the price and very comfy, with a nice view and good location. Definitely will come back here if we visit Labuan Bajo and recommend it to a friend. Thank you!!
