Friendly hosts who welcomed me in after long scooter ride in the rain. Got hot water for shower/bucket wash ready and home cooked dinner was already made. They eat dinner together which is very sweet. Breakfast was equally delicious! Jofans also helped tighten my rear view mirror. Absolutely felt taken care of and booked a night for when I come back from Kelimutu. Looking forward to the meals there already

Chacha Homestay feels like a home, you immediately feel welcome and part of the family. The family is so warm and kind and their food is amazing!! They will help you with everything, they helped plan my flores trip and not only the part in Ruteng (I am traveling alone). I loved being there!

It is one of the best homestays we've stayed duringn our 6 months traveling: confortable beds and super clean rooms and the family running the business is the best we've met while in SEA. Also the food is amazing!

I had a lovely stay at this home stay. Extremely clean, comfortable bed. Indonesian breakfast included. I was there during Easter and they didn’t let me pay for all the meals I had with the family. Position is good, right next to a Gunung mas office for booking buses. You can rent bikes from there as well. Makasi Ayu!

Everywhere was always clean and tidy! The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was nice. The family and staff working there are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Over the Easter celebrations when much of Ruteng was closed they cooked excellent food for me and the other guests! I definitely recommend staying here!

Nothing I could think of.

Everything ! An amazing hostel,with kind host and staff. Large communal area. Coffee and tea available. The dorm rooms are well designed, i.e.reading lights,curtains for privacy. The showers and toilets were cleaned continuously,so no wet floors. They can organise good driver and onwards transportation.

The people who work there are amazing! They make you feel at home, give you a lot of tips and tell good stories about the area and there family as well. The breakfast and other food that they provide are really tasty. By far the best hostel I stayed in for years. The facilities are basic (like bucket showers) but they make it as comfortable as it can be. (Yes you get hot water).

Showers are cold (which didn’t bother me too much, since its the case in most of flores. However it’s something one should be aware of ☺️.

Very friendly and helpful owners that are always down for a chat and ready to help whenever you need something. The restaurant on site (which also serves the included breakfast) is cheap and tasty. Everything was super clean and there is a nice outside area to chill and meet other travelers. Location next to bus-station which is really convenient:) Thank you for your hospitality:)

Top notch hostel! The staff were very friendly and the host was a great character! The food there was also very nice and of great value. Jovan (the host), even woke up at 4am to ensure I was awake to leave that morning. Lovely stay! Most certainly recommend!

Everything! Hosts invited me to eat together, helped me with tours, bike rental, bus and ferry ticket buy and so much. Free water, coffee tea. Lovely athosphere. Supreme wifi.

My stay at Chacha was one my best stops in Flores! The host family are amazing and super welcoming. I ended up staying an extra night because I enjoyed my time there so much! The food at Chacha was the best I had in Flores!

Great value for money. Jofan and his wife go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Breakfast was great and so was dinner. Rooms were clean, there's no hot water in the shower but they can give you a bucket with hot water which works just as well. Jofan organised 2 scooters for us and gave us suggestions on what to do in the area (wouldn't necessarily go to Todo village as we felt it was a tourist trap, go visit Bena village in Bajawa instead :))

Jo and Ayu are some of the kindest and most generous people I have met during my travels. The place is basic but clean and feels like home. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the place but it sure is the place where you will feel like you’re in your family away from home. So many people that come here end up extending (as I did myself) because of the homestay experience with this family. Myself and the other travellers who were there had the opportunity to cook with the family and experience delicious food every day. Thanks for everything, I hope to be back sooner than later 🫶🏻

The family is so lovely, I felt like at home. They always had something for me to taste, like a cake, some typical food or arak - The location is very convenient, not far from a supermarket, ATM and just next to Gunung Mas office if you need to take the bus to go to other cities of Florès - The food was very good and they have their own restaurant

Jofan and his family are so lovely ❤️ This homestay really feels like you are home. Free coffee and tea, always time for questions, helpful for booking tours and also just for a chat. The food in the restaurant is also really good (try the gado gado or chicken porridge or the peanut cookies). I had an amazing stay!
