Food and drink choices are scarce. None entertainment. The prices for food and drink are a bit on the higher site.

Everything was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, great view, very pleasant masage on site. Very relaxing and peaceful place.

Such a gem place, very beautiful little resort and peaceful place to be. The entire place is thoughtfully designed including the pool area and the front beach area. The breakfast was very delicious, plenty choices. The diner also was fine, you would expect some fresh fishes as it's a Tejakula is a small fisherman village, but that was fine :) The stuff very friendly, and helpful. You have also massage-spa services, which was also good to have, especially when you want to relax !

Ambiance and setting of the facility is excellent. The beach is right there, but a little rocky. The staff are very attentive and the quality of the meals offered was excellent.

We missed a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Though it was provided after we asked. We really enjoyed the sea outside our window but would have prefered a sandy beach.

We liked the resort in itself: nice room and bathroom, nice outside area. The people from the resort were very friendly and helpful. We could rent a scooter and a boat trip got organized for us.

Set meal everyday and having to decide at 3pm but very little choice on a La Carte menu, very isolated, no where else to eat, no signage very hard to find when arriving even using google maps. Double room with Seaview very small

It was hard to find and needs sign posts. Snorkelling is not so good and the beach is black pebbles but none of this would stop us going again.

We read reviews about a hidden gem and absolutely agree.It is a beautiful resort amongst the palm trees but with lots of local kids, chooks and families on the beach. We did a sunrise boat trip with a local and had dolphins swimming along side😀 The food is good and the service excellent. There are other great places to eat nearby but you need to hire a scooter( very reasonable price) and we include a waterfall trip- no tourists, just locals!

Not a thing wrong.

So many things to like. Far from the Instagramming crowds. The super warm welcome. The level of fine detail that goes into everything (hand soap wrapper is a twined banana leaf, flowers everywhere-even wrapped in the pool towel bundle, plug points in the beachside loungers). and of course the delicious food. I also had the best massage of my time in Bali here.

Frogs were soo loud, not kidding, and needed to wear earplugs to sleep.

Beautiful pool, very attentive and friendly service, absolute hidden gem with waves washing up. Would definitely stay again.

Mostly every day power failure, low WiFi and often we need to ask for hot water in the shower. We were disapponted, that the owner never come along, because we would like to meeting him, to talk with him, who constructed such a beautiful place.

Little paradies at the end of nowhere. We were the only guests, a bit spooky, but very relaxing. And the staff was nice, everything completely clean!

It's a bit far to go to the nearest restaurant.

1. Perfect location by the beach, secluded, perfect to experience a different Bali. 2. We had a great time spent with local kids on the beach. 3. Ira and the team are amazing 4. I'm vegan and have gluten intolerant. They provided vegan + gf option for me. We ordered dinner few times and their food and drinks were delicious! 5. Beautiful and very clean resort with touch of details and lots of facilities. Have a beautiful garden and poo. They even have a yoga studio!

tasteful with excellent landscaping/gardening; and placement of amenities. wonderful staff, and extremely quiet except for sounds of crashing sea. The pool and seating area very good.

Nothing! It was an unexpected delight. We loved it and will eagerly return.

Cili Emas is an idyllic gem. An authentic village, a beautiful setting, lovely garden, pool and food. The staff are exceptional. Yes, it is secluded and almost hidden away but this meant that we could relax and relish the experience. Quiet, lapping waves, the rhythm of a traditional fishing village, morning swims in a sparkling blue warm sea. Great food available, especially the fixed menu at night, shared with the other guests. We had the whole place to ourselves for a couple of days but the service was still outstanding. The on-site massages are sensational and the opportunity to visit nearby attractions, such as waterfalls and the gorgeous mountain landscapes are readily available.

- you are nearly completely dependent on the resort since it is so secluded

- the rooms with outdoor bathroom are beautiful - the pool is cooling and very big - the menu was very tasty - the tours and wellness offers are very nice - the staff is great

The room was a bit small. With two big luggages, it’s definitely not easy to walk around. We only had one lunch there, as we found the food to be very average. You don’t have the choice of food, you can decide whether you want to eat their meal of the day. for the lunch we had, it was a mixed salad with garlic bread. It was good, but nothing crazy, and definitely not enough. On top of that, we paid nearly 200k for 2 for that meal and a couple of soft drinks, while you can eat for much cheaper in any nearby warung (usually less than 80k for 2, with drinks).

The outside facilities were just perfect. The swimming pool was clean and the water not cold. They also have a yoga room. It’s just so good to be able to chill and relax outside with all the different available options such as hammocks. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very caring and professional. great price for value!!

Any and all complaints ignored, unaddressed, and believe it or not laughed at. Room infested with ants, lizards, spiders and occasional wasps. Overall it's an operational nightmare waiting to explode and what's more shocking is issues flagged in comments in past reviews still exists today.

The overall property looks way nicer in person. Breakfast. A few options on-site given it's remote location.
