I would have liked the towels changed during our stay. I'm sure if I'd have asked, they would have changed them so, my fault really. The shower was hard to control and not very strong and there was no hairdryer.

All the staff were amazing. Memmet what one of the happiest, most welcoming hosts we have ever met. He arranged a snorkel trip for us which was excellent value, if a little crowded. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was simple but well cooked. The location is close to everything but you aren't on top of the noise. The mini bar/fridge was competitively priced so you didn't feel ripped off.

Two hints about the showers: it is solar hot water, so plan your shower time accordingly. Also units closest to entrance are far away from the hot water storage, so be prepared to wait some time before the hot comes through.

Reception was easy, staff were amiable, competent, and knowledgeable. Included breakfast was quick and sufficient, grounds full of colourful plants and trees, overall layout of units with verandahs surrounding pool was inviting. WiFi was adequate.

The staff were incredibly friendly and informative from helping us find activities, booking things, and sharing their knowledge about the island. The owner also donated land to a local charity supporting a cat shelter, and all the mini bar items are at shop prices as they want their guests to just be able to relax - which in my opinion shows their true characters. The resort is a 15min walk (which is lovely) to the night market place/ main harbour which suited us as it was nice and quiet and relaxing. They also have bikes for hire at the resort which is convenient. The resort it also very close to turtle point where you can practically see turtles by just walking into the water 50m. If I return to Gili T I will be coming back here for sure. Thank you again for the amazing stay.

The staff were super friendly and nothing was a problem. When asked they would organise anything you needed, eg bike hire, dive trips etc. it was nice and quiet, far enough away from all the hubbub but close enough on a bike if you wanted to get amongst it.

Not a dislike perse, but just a heads up: the bathroom is partly covered with a roof. So you have to be conscious of shutting the door, otherwise bugs come inside easily. There are no signs leading up to the hotel, so in the evening it was a bit of a challenge to find the way back, since my phone was down. Still not a dislike, just a bit inconvenient. Keep up the good work.

Situated in a quiet environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Rented a bike from the hotel to go around the island. Reasonable price. Spacious room and clean. Lovely pool outside. Had a nice stay.

Noisy air conditioners. Not great value compared to other areas but maybe higher price was Gili T during New Year. No tea kettle.

Gili Palms Resort is clean and located close to the Gili T east-side strip, but far enough away to be quiet. Pool is refreshing and clean. Not sure why it's called a resort. No restaurant or spa, and it's much smaller than appears in pictures with narrow pool about 3 meters from each room. Rooms are also compact. 16 units surround the pool, all duplex style with adjoining room. This is good for families but we could hear neighbors through adjoining door. Each unit has a nice daybed for lounging on patio. Breakfast is small. Coffee/tea OR juice and Eggs/Nasi Goreng/OR fruit platter. Very good My House and Jali Kitchen restaurants are close by.

Extra charge for ordering more (just a small plate of fruit) at breakfast. Wifi wasn’t very good. TV wasn’t working. Close to the mosque so the call to prayer does wake you up occasionally.

Large, clean rooms. Good air con. Nice patio / terrace with each room. Good facilities. Felt very safe. Friendly and very helpful staff (especially Memet who booked snorkelling and fast boats for us). Location - 2 minutes walk from Turtle Beach and close to the bars (but not too close) and scuba schools. Also close to Jali Kitchen and Tiki Bar which are great restaurants. Gili Golf (mini golf and bar with pool, table tennis and darts) is just opposite. Swimming pool. Mini bar. Bike rental.

I booked this place last minute as i got my dates wrong and arrived at the island a day early. Mehmet is a great host! Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and peaceful. After doing the Rinjani hike that day and arriving late, all i needed was a place to relax and a beer…. And what a mini bar it is! I checked in, had a few followed by a great nights sleep! I only stayed the one night but would happily stay again.

Everything was great, staff and manager lovely people, comfort, half pool was covered in shadow which was great in hot days, was also clean, we can boil hot water anytime we wanted for coffee, you can rent bikes there. Close to turtle point beach where You can swim with turtles. Recommend! We will come back again!

Lovely pool, sun loungers, fridge and air con in room. Simple but tasty breakfast, eggs, toast, fruit, tea, coffee fruit juices. Great location, walking distance to harbour and lots of bars and restaurants. Bikes available for hire. Staff Lovely, very helpful and friendly.

They insisted on charging 3 per cent extra to use a Visa card. There was no warning of this on the website. This is wrong by international Booking.com standards. Any credit card charges should be included in the total price that booking.com reports. This is a sneaky and wrong policy if they want to attract international customers. They MUST adhere to international standards otherwise they should not be allowed to advertise on booking. Booking.Com should report the actual total price (not the total price before the 3 per cent credit card charge)

The bed which is supposed to be king size, is actually 2 connected twin beds, in which you cant sleep on. The bathroom is private, but it is out of the room, so it is full with ants
